تمكّنت هيئة «الزكاة والضريبة والجمارك» في ميناء جدة الإسلامي من إحباط محاولة لتهريب 1,719,806 حبات من مادة «الإمفيتامين» المخدر، عُثر عليها مُخبأة في إرسالية واردة إلى المملكة عبر الميناء.
وأوضح المتحدث باسم هيئة الزكاة والضريبة والجمارك حمود الحربي، أنه وردت إرسالية معدات عبر ميناء جدة الإسلامي، عبارة عن «مطحنة»، وعند خضوعها للإجراءات الجمركية، والكشف عليها عبر التقنيات الأمنية، والوسائل الحية، عُثر على تلك الكمية من الحبوب مُخبأة داخل الإرسالية.
وأضاف الحربي أنه بعد إتمام عملية الضبط، جرى التنسيق مع المديرية العامة لمكافحة المخدرات، حيث تم القبض على مستقبِل المضبوطات داخل المملكة.
وأكد أن الهيئة ماضية في إحكام الرقابة الجمركية على واردات وصادرات المملكة، تحقيقًا لأمن المجتمع وحمايته من هذه الآفات، وذلك بالتعاون والتنسيق المتواصل مع المديرية العامة لمكافحة المخدرات.
ودعا المتحدث باسم الهيئة الجميع إلى الإسهام في مكافحة التهريب لحماية المجتمع والاقتصاد الوطني، من خلال التواصل معها على الرقم المخصص للبلاغات الأمنية (1910) أو عبر البريد الإلكتروني (1910@zatca.gov.sa) والرقم الدولي (009661910)، حيث تقوم الهيئة من خلال هذه القنوات باستقبال البلاغات المرتبطة بجرائم التهريب، ومخالفات أحكام نظام الجمارك الموحد وذلك بسرية تامة، مع منح مكافأة مالية للمُبلّغ في حال صحة معلومات البلاغ.
The "Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority" at the Islamic Port of Jeddah was able to thwart an attempt to smuggle 1,719,806 pills of the narcotic substance "amphetamine," which were found hidden in a shipment arriving in the Kingdom through the port.
The spokesperson for the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority, Hamoud Al-Harbi, explained that a shipment of equipment arrived via the Islamic Port of Jeddah, consisting of a "mill." When it underwent customs procedures and was inspected using security technologies and live means, that quantity of pills was discovered hidden inside the shipment.
Al-Harbi added that after completing the seizure process, coordination was made with the General Directorate for Drug Control, where the recipient of the seized items inside the Kingdom was arrested.
He confirmed that the authority is continuing to tighten customs control over the Kingdom's imports and exports, in order to ensure community safety and protect it from these scourges, in collaboration and ongoing coordination with the General Directorate for Drug Control.
The spokesperson for the authority called on everyone to contribute to combating smuggling to protect the community and the national economy, by contacting them at the designated security reporting number (1910) or via email (1910@zatca.gov.sa) and the international number (009661910). The authority receives reports related to smuggling crimes and violations of the Unified Customs System through these channels with complete confidentiality, offering a financial reward to the informant if the information provided is accurate.
