أجرى فريق جراحة القلب بمدينة الملك عبدالله الطبية بالعاصمة المقدسة -عضو تجمع مكة المكرمة الصحي-، عملية دقيقة لمواطنة كانت تعاني من ارتجاع شديد في الصمام التاجي، مما تسبب لها في ضيق بالتنسيق، وعدم القدرة على المشي.
وأوضح تجمع مكة المكرمة الصحي، أنه بعد استكمال التقييمات الطبية والفحوصات التشخيصية، تقرر التدخل الجراحي العاجل باستخدام تقنية الروبوت الجراحي المتقدمة (Da Vinci Surgical System)، بالتعاون مع فريق من جراحي مركز الأمير سلطان لأمراض القلب بمدينة الرياض، لاستبدال الصمام التاجي كاملاً، مما أسهم في استعادة انتظام ضربات القلب والحد من الأعراض.
وأشار التجمع إلى نجاح العملية، ونقل المستفيدة إلى العناية المركزة بجراحة القلب وهي في حالة طبية مستقرة، وتُستكمل حاليّاً خطة الرعاية الطبية تحت إشراف فريق متخصص متعدد التخصصات.
ولفت التجمع الصحي إلى أن هذه العملية، تأتي ضمن سلسلة من الجهود النوعية التي تحققها المدينة الطبية في مجال الجراحات القلبية الدقيقة، من خلال تسخير أحدث تقنيات التدخل الجراحي، بما يواكب مستهدفات التحول الصحي، ويعزز جودة الحياة للمستفيدين، تحقيقاً لمستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030.
The cardiac surgery team at King Abdullah Medical City in the holy capital - a member of the Makkah Health Cluster - performed a delicate operation on a citizen who was suffering from severe mitral valve regurgitation, which caused her coordination difficulties and inability to walk.
The Makkah Health Cluster explained that after completing medical evaluations and diagnostic tests, it was decided to proceed with urgent surgical intervention using advanced robotic surgical technology (Da Vinci Surgical System), in collaboration with a team of surgeons from Prince Sultan Cardiac Center in Riyadh, to completely replace the mitral valve, which contributed to restoring normal heart rhythms and reducing symptoms.
The cluster indicated the success of the operation, and the patient was transferred to the cardiac intensive care unit in stable medical condition, with her medical care plan currently being continued under the supervision of a specialized multidisciplinary team.
The health cluster pointed out that this operation is part of a series of qualitative efforts being achieved by the medical city in the field of precise cardiac surgeries, by harnessing the latest surgical intervention technologies, in line with the health transformation targets, and enhancing the quality of life for beneficiaries, in pursuit of the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
