كشف وكيل وزارة البيئة والمياه والزراعة المهندس محمد العبداللطيف، أن قرار بيع المواشي بالوزن سيطبق على مستوى التجزئة فقط دون الجملة. جاء ذلك ضمن كواليس ورشة البيع بالأوزان التي عقدت أخيراً بالرياض، مؤكداً، أن الوزارة لا تتدخل في تحديد الأسعار، والسعر مرتبط بعمر ونوع الماشية كالحري والنعيمي والنجدي وغيرها، ويحدد العمر بالشهر.وفي ردّه على استفسارات الحضور، أوضح العبداللطيف، أن الوزن يشمل جسم الماشية كاملاً بما فيه الجلد والماء والعظم، مشيراً إلى أن موازين الأغنام تختلف عن موازين الإبل والأبقار، وأكد أن الهدف من القرار المنتظر إعلانه تعزيز الشفافية والعدالة بين البائع والمشتري، ضمن منظومة تشمل رصد المخالفات وإصدار العقوبات بحق المخالفين.من جانبه، كشف لـ «عكاظ» الناشط في تنمية الثروة الحيوانية سعود الهفتاء، أن استثناء تجار الجملة من القرار سيتسبب في إرباك السوق ويضر شريطية التجزئة والمستهلك النهائي، مطالباً بتطبيق القرار على جميع مراحل البيع، مشدداً على أهمية الرقابة الصارمة عند تنفيذ الآلية.
«عكاظ» تكشف أسرار بيع المواشي بالوزن
The Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture, Engineer Mohammed Al-Abdulatif, revealed that the decision to sell livestock by weight will apply only at the retail level and not at the wholesale level. This came during the behind-the-scenes of the weight-based sales workshop held recently in Riyadh, emphasizing that the ministry does not intervene in price determination, and the price is linked to the age and type of livestock such as Harri, Naeemi, Najdi, and others, with age defined in months. In response to inquiries from the attendees, Al-Abdulatif clarified that the weight includes the entire body of the livestock, including skin, water, and bones, noting that the scales for sheep differ from those for camels and cows. He confirmed that the goal of the anticipated decision is to enhance transparency and fairness between the seller and the buyer, as part of a system that includes monitoring violations and issuing penalties against violators. For his part, livestock development activist Saud Al-Hafita told "Okaz" that exempting wholesale traders from the decision will cause confusion in the market and harm retail traders and the final consumer, calling for the decision to be applied at all stages of sale, stressing the importance of strict oversight during the implementation of the mechanism.
