تواصل الخطوط الحديدية السعودية (سار) تنفيذ خطتها التشغيلية لموسم حج 1446، التي تشمل تسيير رحلة كل ساعة تقريباً من محطة مطار الملك عبدالعزيز الدولي بجدة إلى محطة مكة المكرمة عبر قطار الحرمين السريع، وذلك في إطار جهودها الرامية إلى تسهيل تنقلات ضيوف الرحمن، ورفع كفاءة الخدمة خلال ذروة موسم الحج.
وكانت «سار» أعلنت في وقت سابق تسيير أكثر من 4700 رحلة مجدولة ضمن خطتها التشغيلية لهذا الموسم، عبر القطار الذي يُعد من بين أسرع القطارات الكهربائية في العالم، وتصل سرعته إلى 300 كيلومترٍ في الساعة، ما يختصر زمن الرحلة من المطار إلى مكة المكرمة إلى أقل من ساعة.
ويأتي التوسع في عدد الرحلات من محطة المطار إلى مكة المكرمة في ظل الذروة التشغيلية التي يشهدها مطار الملك عبدالعزيز الدولي، وتزايد أعداد الحجاج القادمين، لاسيما من حجاج الداخل، حيث تعمل «سار» بالتنسيق مع الجهات ذات العلاقة لضمان انسيابية الحركة التشغيلية، وتحقيق أعلى معايير السلامة والكفاءة في نقل الحجاج.

The Saudi Railways (SAR) continues to implement its operational plan for the Hajj season 1446, which includes running a train approximately every hour from King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah to the Holy Mosque in Makkah via the Haramain High-Speed Train. This is part of its efforts to facilitate the movement of the guests of Allah and to enhance service efficiency during the peak Hajj season.
SAR had previously announced the operation of more than 4,700 scheduled trips as part of its operational plan for this season, using the train, which is among the fastest electric trains in the world, reaching speeds of up to 300 kilometers per hour, reducing the travel time from the airport to Makkah to less than an hour.
The expansion in the number of trips from the airport station to Makkah comes amid the operational peak being witnessed at King Abdulaziz International Airport and the increasing number of pilgrims arriving, especially from domestic pilgrims. SAR is coordinating with relevant authorities to ensure smooth operational flow and achieve the highest safety and efficiency standards in transporting the pilgrims.
