رفع وزير البيئة والمياه والزراعة رئيس مجلس إدارة الهيئة العامة للأمن الغذائي المهندس عبد الرحمن بن عبدالمحسن الفضلي، الشكر لخادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود، ولولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز ؛ بمناسبة صدور موافقة مجلس الوزراء على تنظيم الهيئة العامة للأمن الغذائي.
وبهذه المناسبة أكد المهندس الفضلي أن الموافقة على تنظيم الهيئة ستعزز دورها في تنظيم القطاع، ويُسهم في تحقيق مستهدفات الأمن الغذائي؛ بما يكفل حماية المصالح الوطنية، ومراقبة الالتزام بالأنظمة، مشيراً إلى أن مشروع تنظيم الهيئة سيرفع من إسهامات القطاع الزراعي في التنمية الاقتصادية، وتعظيم مشاركة القطاع الخاص وتعزيز دوره في التوطين، إضافةً إلى زيادة إسهاماته في الناتج المحلي.
ونوه بالدعم والرعاية اللذين توليهما القيادة، لمنظومة البيئة والمياه والزراعة؛ مما كان له الفضل -بعد الله-، في وفرة المنتجات الغذائية، وتحقيق القطاع الزراعي منجزاتٍ عديدة، رفعت نسبة مشاركته في الناتج المحلي، وعزّزت مستهدفات الأمن الغذائي، وفق مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030.
The Minister of Environment, Water, and Agriculture, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Authority for Food Security, Engineer Abdul Rahman bin Abdul Mohsen Al-Fadli, expressed his gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and to the Crown Prince, Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, on the occasion of the Cabinet's approval of the organization of the General Authority for Food Security.
On this occasion, Engineer Al-Fadli confirmed that the approval of the organization will enhance its role in regulating the sector and contribute to achieving food security objectives, ensuring the protection of national interests and monitoring compliance with regulations. He pointed out that the organization project will increase the agricultural sector's contributions to economic development, maximize the participation of the private sector, and strengthen its role in localization, in addition to increasing its contributions to the gross domestic product.
He noted the support and care provided by the leadership to the environment, water, and agriculture system, which has been instrumental—after God—in the abundance of food products and the agricultural sector achieving numerous accomplishments that have raised its participation rate in the gross domestic product and enhanced food security objectives, in line with the targets of Saudi Vision 2030.
