تفقد أمير منطقة جازان الأمير محمد بن عبدالعزيز بن محمد بن عبدالعزيز اليوم، يرافقه نائبه الأمير ناصر بن محمد بن عبدالله بن جلوي مدينة جازان للصناعات الأساسية والتحويلية، اطّلع خلالها على سير العمل، وأبرز المشاريع الجاري تنفيذها من قبل الهيئة الملكية للجبيل وينبع.
وكان في استقبال أمير جازان لدى وصوله رئيس الهيئة الملكية للجبيل وينبع المهندس خالد بن محمد السالم، والرئيس التنفيذي للمدينة الدكتور حسين بن يحيى الفاضلي، وعدد من المسؤولين في الهيئة.
وشاهد أمير جازان عرضاً مرئياً عن أبرز مشاريع الهيئة الملكية في المدينة والمنطقة الاقتصادية الخاصة بجازان، مستمعاً إلى إيجاز عن أهم القطاعات الصناعية المستهدفة، والحوافز الاستثمارية المقدمة من الدولة لجذب المستثمرين، إضافة إلى منجزات الهيئة في تطوير البنية التحتية ورفع جاهزيتها، والخدمات العامة، ودعمها للقطاع السياحي في منطقة جازان، والدور الكبير الذي تقوم به الهيئة في تسويق وجذب الفرص الاستثمارية النوعية.
وتضمّن العرض كذلك، مشاريع حيوية تنفذها الهيئة في المدينة، من أبرزها «محطة تحلية ومعالجة المياه»، التي تعمل بتقنية التناضح العكسي بطاقة إنتاجية تبلغ (60000) متر مكعب يومياً، لتأمين احتياجات الاستخدام الصناعي والسكني عبر شبكة نقل وتوزيع متقدمة و«نظام التبريد بمياه البحر» الذي تصل طاقته التصميمية إلى (160000) متر مكعب في الساعة، ويُعد من المشاريع الداعمة للصناعات في المدينة.
وشملت الجولة زيارة أكاديمية الهيئة الملكية بجازان، التي تُعنى بتأهيل الكوادر الوطنية ورفع جاهزيتهم لسوق العمل، إذ نُفّذت أكثر من (55) دورة وورشة تدريبية في عدة مجالات، استفاد منها أكثر من (2700) متدرب ومتدربة.
وضمن جولته، زار أمير جازان ميناء مدينة جازان للصناعات الأساسية والتحويلية، مطلعاً على موقع الميناء الإستراتيجي، الذي يعد ممراً تجارياً مهماً لـ13% من حجم التجارة العالمية.
ويتميز الميناء بمساحة تتجاوز (6) ملايين متر مربع، وطاقة استيعابية تصل إلى (4) ملايين طن متري من البضائع السائبة، و(1.2) مليون وحدة حاوية، وشهد أخيراً إنجازات بارزة شملت تصدير شحنات صناعية إلى أمريكا وإيطاليا، ما يعكس جاهزيته لدعم النمو الصناعي واللوجستي في المملكة ويعد من الممكّنات الرئيسية في المدينة.
واختتم أمير منطقة جازان الجولة، بزيارة مصنع شركة «صلب ستيل»، الذي يُعد من الركائز المهمة في صناعة الحديد والصلب بالمملكة، وهو باكورة مدينة جازان للصناعات والأساسية والتحويلية، وتأسس في 2008.
The Emir of Jazan Region, Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Mohammed bin Abdulaziz, today inspected the Jazan City for Basic and Transformative Industries, accompanied by his deputy, Prince Nasser bin Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Jiluwi. During the visit, he reviewed the progress of work and the most prominent projects being implemented by the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu.
Upon his arrival, the Emir of Jazan was received by the Chairman of the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu, Engineer Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Salem, the CEO of the city, Dr. Hussein bin Yahya Al-Fadhli, and a number of officials from the commission.
The Emir of Jazan watched a visual presentation about the most important projects of the Royal Commission in the city and the Jazan Economic Special Zone, listening to a briefing on the key targeted industrial sectors, the investment incentives provided by the state to attract investors, in addition to the commission's achievements in developing infrastructure and enhancing its readiness, public services, and its support for the tourism sector in the Jazan Region, as well as the significant role the commission plays in marketing and attracting quality investment opportunities.
The presentation also included vital projects being implemented by the commission in the city, most notably the "Desalination and Water Treatment Plant," which operates using reverse osmosis technology with a production capacity of (60,000) cubic meters per day, to secure the needs for industrial and residential use through an advanced transport and distribution network, and the "Seawater Cooling System," which has a design capacity of (160,000) cubic meters per hour, and is considered one of the supporting projects for industries in the city.
The tour included a visit to the Royal Commission Academy in Jazan, which is dedicated to qualifying national cadres and enhancing their readiness for the labor market, where more than (55) training courses and workshops have been conducted in various fields, benefiting over (2,700) male and female trainees.
As part of his tour, the Emir of Jazan visited the Jazan City for Basic and Transformative Industries Port, gaining insight into the strategic location of the port, which is an important trade passage for 13% of global trade volume.
The port features an area exceeding (6) million square meters, with a capacity of (4) million metric tons of bulk goods and (1.2) million container units, and has recently witnessed notable achievements, including the export of industrial shipments to America and Italy, reflecting its readiness to support industrial and logistical growth in the Kingdom and is considered one of the main enablers in the city.
The Emir of Jazan concluded the tour with a visit to the "Steel SULB" factory, which is one of the important pillars of the iron and steel industry in the Kingdom, and is the first project in the Jazan City for Basic and Transformative Industries, established in 2008.
