كشفت بلدية محافظة القطيف بدء تنفيذ أعمال تأهيل وصيانة الشوارع الداخلية في عنك بمساحة إجمالية تبلغ 19 ألف متر مربع، وذلك ضمن جهودها لتحسين منظومة الطرق ورفع كفاءتها بما يتوافق مع معايير التنمية المستدامة.
من جانبه أوضح رئيس بلدية محافظة القطيف المهندس صالح القرني أن المشروع يهدف إلى تحسين جودة الطرق لتلبية احتياجات مستخدميها، مع التركيز على تعزيز السلامة المرورية وكفاءة شبكة الطرق.
وأشار إلى أن الفترة الحالية تشهد تنفيذ العديد من المشاريع التنموية في مختلف المواقع، في إطار حرص البلدية على تطوير الشوارع وجعلها أكثر انسيابية ومرونة، بما يتماشى مع أفضل المعايير والمواصفات للبنية التحتية.
ونوه المهندس صالح القرني إلى أن مشاريع الصيانة وإعادة التأهيل تأتي في سياق جهود البلدية لتحديث البنية التحتية، والارتقاء بخدمات شبكة الطرق، وتهيئة مرافق عصرية قادرة على دعم التطوير والتنمية المستدامة في محافظة القطيف، بما يعزز جودة الحياة ويسهم في تحقيق أهداف أنسنة المدن.
The Municipality of Qatif Governorate has revealed the commencement of rehabilitation and maintenance works for the internal streets in Anak, covering a total area of 19,000 square meters. This is part of its efforts to improve the road system and enhance its efficiency in accordance with sustainable development standards.
For his part, the Mayor of Qatif Governorate, Engineer Saleh Al-Qarni, explained that the project aims to improve the quality of the roads to meet the needs of their users, with a focus on enhancing traffic safety and the efficiency of the road network.
He pointed out that the current period is witnessing the implementation of many developmental projects in various locations, as part of the municipality's commitment to developing the streets and making them more fluid and flexible, in line with the best standards and specifications for infrastructure.
Engineer Saleh Al-Qarni noted that maintenance and rehabilitation projects come within the framework of the municipality's efforts to update the infrastructure, elevate the services of the road network, and prepare modern facilities capable of supporting development and sustainable growth in Qatif Governorate, thereby enhancing the quality of life and contributing to achieving the goals of humanizing cities.
