التقى وزير الخارجية الأمير فيصل بن فرحان بن عبدالله، في مدينة نيويورك اليوم، المبعوث الأمريكي الخاص إلى سورية والعراق توم باراك، وذلك على هامش أعمال الأسبوع رفيع المستوى للجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة في دورتها الحادية والثمانين.
وجرى خلال اللقاء بحث تطورات الأوضاع في منطقة الشرق الأوسط، ومناقشة المساعي الرامية لاحتواء التوترات وإحلال الأمن والسلام فيها.
Today in New York, Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah met with the U.S. Special Envoy to Syria and Iraq, Tom Barak, on the sidelines of the high-level week of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.
During the meeting, they discussed the developments in the Middle East region and the efforts aimed at containing tensions and achieving security and peace there.
