زار أميرُ منطقة المدينة المنورة رئيسُ مجلس هيئة تطوير المنطقة رئيسُ لجنة الحج والزيارة الأمير سلمان بن سلطان بن عبد العزيز، ميقاتَ ذي الحليفة، بحضور أمين المنطقة الرئيس التنفيذي للهيئة المهندس فهد بن محمد البليهشي.
وتفقّد أعمالَ المرحلة الأولى من مشروع التطوير والتأهيل التي يشهدها المسجد، بهدف تحسين منظومة الخدمات المقدمة لضيوف الرحمن، وشملت أنسنة الساحات والمرافق على مساحة تتجاوز (50) ألف متر مربع، مما أسهم في رفع الطاقة الاستيعابية للمسجد من (5) آلاف مصلٍّ إلى أكثر من (15) ألف مصلٍّ. وأكّد أمير المدينة المنورة أن المواقع الخدمية الواقعة على طرق الحجاج تُعدّ ركيزةً أساسية في منظومة العناية بضيوف الرحمن، مشيراً إلى أن مسجد الميقات يُعدّ من المعالم الحيوية التي تحظى باهتمام القيادة لما له من مكانة دينية، بصفته أحد المواقيت الرئيسة التي يُحرِم منها الحجاج والمعتمرون.
ونوّه بالجهود المبذولة في تطوير هذه المواقع، ما يجسّد اهتمام خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبد العزيز آل سعود، وولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء ضمن مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030، التي أولت خدمة الحرمين الشريفين وقاصديهما أولويةً قصوى من خلال رفع كفاءة البنية التحتية، وتكامل الخدمات، وتحقيق أعلى معايير الجودة والراحة، بما يعكس رسالة المملكة في خدمة الإسلام والمسلمين.
وخلال الجولة، استمع الأمير سلمان بن سلطان إلى شرحٍ حول تطوير منظومة الخدمات في المسجد، التي تضمنت تركيب (40) مروحة رذاذ مائي لترطيب الأجواء، وتجهيز (100) منصة لسقيا الماء في الساحات الجديدة، إلى جانب تطوير منظومة الإضاءة عبر (7) آلاف وحدة إنارة جديدة، وتحسين الأنظمة الصوتية باستخدام (190) سماعةً ومكبّر صوت بتقنيات حديثة، إضافةً إلى تطوير وتأهيل أكثر من (1300) دورة مياه ونقطة وضوء، ووضع خطط تشغيلية تضمن انسيابية حركة الحافلات في المنطقة المحيطة بالميقات. واطّلع سموُّه على شرحٍ موجزٍ حول مجالات التطوير والتأهيل في الموقع العام، التي تأتي ضمن مهمات هيئة تطوير منطقة المدينة المنورة في الإشراف على مسجد ميقات ذي الحليفة، والعمل التشاركي مع برنامج خدمة ضيوف الرحمن وجميع الجهات ذات العلاقة، لوضع خطط التطوير والتحسين، وإعادة تأهيل جميع مرافق المسجد، بما يضمن تقديم خدمات تنظيمية متكاملة لضيوف الرحمن.
The Prince of the Medina region, Chairman of the Development Authority of the region, and Chairman of the Hajj and Umrah Committee, Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, visited the Miqat of Dhul-Hulayfah, accompanied by the Secretary of the region and CEO of the authority, Engineer Fahd bin Mohammed Al-Bulayshi.
He inspected the works of the first phase of the development and rehabilitation project taking place at the mosque, aimed at improving the service system provided to the guests of Allah. This included humanizing the squares and facilities over an area exceeding (50) thousand square meters, which contributed to increasing the mosque's capacity from (5) thousand worshippers to more than (15) thousand worshippers. The Prince of Medina emphasized that the service sites located on the pilgrims' routes are a fundamental pillar in the system of care for the guests of Allah, noting that the Miqat mosque is one of the vital landmarks that receives attention from the leadership due to its religious significance, as it is one of the main Miqats from which pilgrims and Umrah performers enter into ihram.
He praised the efforts made in developing these sites, reflecting the interest of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and the Crown Prince, Chairman of the Council of Ministers, within the objectives of Vision 2030, which has prioritized the service of the Two Holy Mosques and their visitors by enhancing infrastructure efficiency, integrating services, and achieving the highest standards of quality and comfort, reflecting the Kingdom's message in serving Islam and Muslims.
During the tour, Prince Salman bin Sultan listened to an explanation about the development of the service system in the mosque, which included the installation of (40) mist fans to cool the atmosphere, the preparation of (100) water distribution platforms in the new squares, in addition to developing the lighting system through (7) thousand new lighting units, and improving the sound systems using (190) speakers and amplifiers with modern technologies. Additionally, over (1300) restrooms and lighting points were developed and rehabilitated, along with operational plans to ensure the smooth movement of buses in the area surrounding the Miqat. His Highness was briefed on a summary of the development and rehabilitation areas in the general site, which are part of the tasks of the Medina Region Development Authority in supervising the Miqat Mosque of Dhul-Hulayfah, and the collaborative work with the Guests of Allah Service Program and all relevant entities to develop and improve plans and to rehabilitate all mosque facilities, ensuring comprehensive organizational services for the guests of Allah.
