The investment advisor at the National Center for Environmental Sector Development, Huda bint Abdullah Al-Buqami, revealed that the registration of "Salma Geo Park" represents an important strategic step for preserving natural heritage and enhancing the concepts of sustainable development in the region.

She stated during her participation in the sessions of the Hail Investment Forum 2025: "We are working on developing the environmental habitats at the site and expanding the range of plant and animal diversity by enhancing research and exploration and discovering additional sites that can be environmentally upgraded."

She confirmed that the project will contribute to creating direct job opportunities for the local population, as well as opening sales outlets for local craftsmen and tradespeople, thereby supporting the community economy.

She added: "This direction enhances the Kingdom's pioneering role in the environmental tourism sector and aligns with the goals of elevating sustainable tourism."

She concluded by saying that there is an investment portfolio being worked on in collaboration with the Tourism Authority to develop the site of the Taba village, making it a unique destination that connects the past with the future, noting that the project will launch very soon.
