تواصل أمانة منطقة عسير تنفيذ حزمة من مشاريع أنسنة المدن وتطوير الطرق والمحاور الحيوية في مدينة أبها ضمن جهودها الرامية إلى تعزيز جودة الحياة، والارتقاء بالمشهد الحضري، وتحسين تجربة التنقل والوصولية، من خلال تطوير البنية التحتية وتهيئة بيئة حضرية أكثر ملاءمة للسكان والزوار. وشملت الأعمال استكمال مشروع الإنسنة على طريق الأمير منصور بن مقرن بطول 8 كيلومترات، ابتداء من دوار المطار حتى ما قبل مجمع تجاري، متضمنة تنفيذ مسارات للدراجات الهوائية، وأعمال الإنارة، وتركيب الأثاث الحضري، إلى جانب أعمال تطويرية في المنطقة المقابلة لمجمع تجاري. وفي حي المحالة، تتضمن الأعمال إضافة مسار للدراجات الهوائية واستكمال أعمال الأنسنة من بعد مركز الفحص الدوري حتى مطعم شهير، فيما تشهد أعمال التطوير على طريق الأمير سلطان استكمال عناصر الأنسنة والتشجير والإنارة، من بعد تقاطع القصبة باتجاه كوبري مجمع تجاري، إضافة إلى إنشاء جدار حجري لمعالجة فرق المنسوب بعد كوبري المنهل، كما تتواصل أعمال الإنسنة على طريق أبو هريرة، وتشمل تحسين المداخل والمخارج وتطوير الدوار وزراعته، إلى جانب استكمال مشروع «صناعة المكان» في حي الأندلس، من خلال أعمال التشجير والإنارة، وتطوير التقاطعات والمداخل، وتعزيز عناصر المشهد الحضري.
The Municipality of Asir Region continues to implement a package of urban humanization projects and the development of vital roads and corridors in the city of Abha as part of its efforts to enhance the quality of life, elevate the urban landscape, and improve mobility and accessibility. This is achieved through the development of infrastructure and the preparation of a more suitable urban environment for residents and visitors. The works included the completion of the humanization project on Prince Mansour bin Muqrin Road, which spans 8 kilometers, starting from the airport roundabout to just before a commercial complex. This includes the implementation of bicycle lanes, lighting works, and the installation of urban furniture, alongside developmental works in the area opposite the commercial complex. In the Al-Muhalla neighborhood, the works include adding a bicycle lane and completing humanization works from the periodic inspection center to a famous restaurant. Meanwhile, development works on Prince Sultan Road witness the completion of humanization elements, landscaping, and lighting, from after the Qasbah intersection towards the bridge of a commercial complex. Additionally, a stone wall is being constructed to address the elevation difference after the Al-Manhal Bridge. Humanization works continue on Abu Huraira Road, including improving entrances and exits, developing the roundabout, and planting it. Furthermore, the "Place Making" project in the Al-Andalus neighborhood is being completed through landscaping and lighting works, developing intersections and entrances, and enhancing urban landscape elements.
