أشاد أمير منطقة الباحة الأمير الدكتور حسام بن سعود بن عبدالعزيز، بتحقيق أمانة منطقة الباحة المركز الأول على مستوى دول مجلس التعاون، وحصدها جائزة مجلس التعاون للعمل البلدي بدورتها السادسة لعام 2025 - 2026، عن مشروع «مبادرة الباحة الخضراء»، التي أطلقها أمير المنطقة منذ أعوام عدة.
وأكد أمير الباحة، أن الإنجاز يجسد تميز العمل البلدي بالمنطقة، ويثمّن جهود الأمانة في تنفيذ المبادرات النوعية، الهادفة إلى تحسين المشهد الحضري وتعزيز جودة الحياة، والإسهام في تحقيق مستهدفات مبادرة السعودية الخضراء، منوهاً بجهود أمانة المنطقة ومنسوبيها، والتكامل بين الجهات ذات العلاقة الذي أسهم في نجاح المبادرة وتحقيق مستهدفاتها.
فيما، رفع أمين منطقة الباحة علي محمد السواط، شكره وتقديره لأمير المنطقة ولنائبه، على ما تحظى به مشاريع ومبادرات الأمانة من دعم واهتمام ومتابعة، مثمناً دعم وزير البلديات والإسكان ماجد عبدالله الحقيل.
وأوضح السواط، أن تحقيق المركز الأول خليجياً يمثل حافزاً لمواصلة التميز المؤسسي وتطوير المبادرات البلدية النوعية، مؤكداً أن مبادرة الباحة الخضراء أسهمت في تعزيز التشجير المستدام، وإبراز الهوية الشجرية للمنطقة، وتشجيع زراعة الأشجار المحلية الملائمة لطبيعتها ومناخها.
The Emir of Al-Baha Region, Prince Dr. Hussam bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, praised the achievement of the Al-Baha Municipality in securing the first place at the level of the Gulf Cooperation Council, and winning the Gulf Cooperation Council Award for Municipal Work in its sixth edition for the years 2025 - 2026, for the project "Al-Baha Green Initiative," which was launched by the Emir of the region several years ago.
The Emir of Al-Baha emphasized that this achievement reflects the excellence of municipal work in the region and appreciates the efforts of the municipality in implementing qualitative initiatives aimed at improving the urban landscape and enhancing the quality of life, as well as contributing to the goals of the Saudi Green Initiative, highlighting the efforts of the municipality and its staff, and the integration between the relevant authorities that contributed to the success of the initiative and achieving its objectives.
Meanwhile, the Secretary of Al-Baha Region, Ali Mohammed Al-Sawat, expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Emir of the region and his deputy for the support, attention, and follow-up that the municipality's projects and initiatives receive, valuing the support of the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, Majid Abdullah Al-Huqail.
Al-Sawat clarified that achieving the first place in the Gulf region represents an incentive to continue institutional excellence and develop qualitative municipal initiatives, affirming that the Al-Baha Green Initiative has contributed to enhancing sustainable afforestation, highlighting the tree identity of the region, and encouraging the planting of local trees suitable for its nature and climate.
