جُوبه الهجوم الإرهابي لمليشيا الحوثي على المملكة العربية السعودية بإدانة واستنكار شديدي اللهجة، وعلى مستوى واسع النطاق إقليمياً ودولياً، وتضامنت كيانات ومنظمات ومؤسسات مع المملكة، وأعلنت عن وقوفها مع القيادة السعودية في وجه كل ما يهدّد أمنها واستقرارها.
ولا شك أن لهذه الإدانات وهذا التضامن وقعه المعنوي في النفوس، إلا أن المُدان يتحمّل مسؤولية موجبة لمحاسبته، خصوصاً أن المدنيين السعوديين والمقيمين من الأشقاء والأصدقاء كلهم أضحوا أهدافاً لهذه الهجمات الجبانة وغير المسؤولة، ولعل مواقف بعض الدول المؤثرة في القرارات الدولية لا تزال تكتنفها بعض الضبابية، علماً بأنها تدرك أن أمن واستقرار المملكة هو أمن واستقرار لكل الشركاء والحلفاء.
والأمل كبير في الانتقال من الأقوال إلى الأفعال، واعتماد عقوبات سريعة تسهم في حسم الأمور كي لا تتفاقم التبعات وتصل آثارها إلى الجميع دون استثناء، والتمادي الحوثي الذي تتبناه إيران يؤكد، أن هناك أكثر من طرف مشترك في الجريمة، وإلزام المعتدي ثمن اعتدائه يدفعه للتراجع والمراجعة، والكل يعلم أن أذرعة إيران في المنطقة لا تزال تتجاوز كل الأعراف والقوانين، انطلاقاً من السلوك العدواني الإيراني، ما يحتّم حسم الأمور كي لا يتكبّد العالم فوق ما تكبّده من خسائر يصعب تعويضها.
The terrorist attack by the Houthi militia on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was met with strong condemnation and denunciation, both regionally and internationally. Entities, organizations, and institutions expressed solidarity with the Kingdom and declared their support for the Saudi leadership in the face of all that threatens its security and stability.
There is no doubt that these condemnations and this solidarity have a significant moral impact, but the perpetrator bears a responsibility that necessitates accountability, especially since Saudi civilians and residents, including brothers and friends, have all become targets of these cowardly and irresponsible attacks. Moreover, the positions of some influential countries in international decisions remain somewhat ambiguous, even though they recognize that the security and stability of the Kingdom is the security and stability of all partners and allies.
There is great hope for a transition from words to actions, and for the adoption of swift sanctions that contribute to resolving matters so that repercussions do not escalate and their effects reach everyone without exception. The Houthi escalation, which is supported by Iran, confirms that there are multiple parties involved in the crime. Holding the aggressor accountable for their aggression compels them to retreat and reconsider. Everyone knows that Iran's proxies in the region continue to violate all norms and laws, stemming from Iranian aggressive behavior, which necessitates decisive action to prevent the world from suffering further losses that are difficult to compensate.
