أدانت دولة الكويت اعتداءات جماعة الحوثي على مطاري أبها والملك خالد الدوليين، التي أسفرت عن وقوع عدد من الوفيات والمصابين المدنيين، وعدّته انتهاكًا صارخًا لسيادة المملكة وخرقًا فاضحًا للقانون الدولي والقانون الدولي الإنساني. وشددت وزارة الخارجية الكويتية في بيان لها اليوم (الخميس) على رفض دولة الكويت القاطع لتكرار هذه الاعتداءات التي تستهدف المدنيين الأبرياء والأعيان المدنية والاقتصادية، مؤكدة ضرورة وقفها فورًا.
وجدد البيان تضامن دولة الكويت المطلق مع المملكة العربية السعودية ودعمها جميع الإجراءات التي تتخذها لصون سيادتها وأمنها وحماية مواطنيها والمقيمين على أراضيها، مشددًا على أن أمن المملكة جزء لا يتجزأ من أمن دولة الكويت وأمن دول مجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية.
Kuwait condemned the attacks by the Houthi group on Abha and King Khalid international airports, which resulted in several civilian deaths and injuries. It considered these actions a blatant violation of the sovereignty of the Kingdom and a flagrant breach of international law and international humanitarian law. The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized in a statement today (Thursday) Kuwait's firm rejection of the repeated attacks targeting innocent civilians and civilian and economic sites, asserting the necessity of stopping them immediately.
The statement reiterated Kuwait's complete solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its support for all measures taken to preserve its sovereignty and security and to protect its citizens and residents on its territory, emphasizing that the security of the Kingdom is an integral part of the security of the State of Kuwait and the security of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
