رفع وزير الشؤون الإسلامية والدعوة والإرشاد الشيخ الدكتور عبداللطيف بن عبدالعزيز آل الشيخ الشكر لخادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز، وولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز، بمناسبة قرار مجلس الوزراء بأن تكون المساجد ومرافقها من المرافق العامة التي يطبق عليها نظام حماية المرافق العامة، وذلك إلى حين نفاذ مشروع نظام الأوقاف.
الارتقاء بالخدمات
وأكد أن هذا القرار يجسد ما توليه القيادة الرشيدة من عناية عظيمة ببيوت الله، وحرصها الدائم على حمايتها والمحافظة على مرافقها ومقدراتها، وتعزيز كل ما من شأنه صيانتها والارتقاء بالخدمات المقدمة فيها، بما يهيئ للمصلين أداء عباداتهم في أجواء من الطمأنينة والخشوع.
وقال: «إن هذه العناية الكريمة ببيوت الله ليست مستغربة على قيادة جعلت خدمة الإسلام والمسلمين والعناية بالمساجد وعمارتها ورعايتها في مقدمة أولوياتها، وإننا في وزارة الشؤون الإسلامية والدعوة والإرشاد نستشعر عظم المسؤولية والأمانة، وسنواصل العمل بكل إخلاص للمحافظة على بيوت الله ومرافقها ومقدراتها، وإنفاذ كل ما من شأنه حمايتها وصيانتها، وفق توجيهات قيادتنا الرشيدة».
تسخير الإمكانات
وأشار الوزير آل الشيخ إلى أن القرار يعزز منظومة حماية المساجد ومرافقها، ويؤكد مكانتها والعناية بما تحتويه من مرافق وتجهيزات ومقدرات، مشددًا على أن الوزارة ستواصل أداء مسؤولياتها في العناية ببيوت الله والمحافظة عليها وتسخير إمكاناتها لخدمة مرتاديها.
وفي ختام تصريحه، سأل الله تعالى أن يحفظ خادم الحرمين الشريفين وولي عهده الأمين، وأن يجزيهما خير الجزاء على ما يقدمانه من عناية ورعاية لبيوت الله، وأن يديم على المملكة أمنها واستقرارها وعزها وازدهارها.
The Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, Sheikh Dr. Abdul Latif bin Abdul Aziz Al Sheikh, expressed his gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdul Aziz, and the Crown Prince, Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz, on the occasion of the Cabinet's decision that mosques and their facilities will be considered public facilities subject to the Public Facilities Protection System, until the implementation of the Endowments System project.
Enhancing Services
He affirmed that this decision embodies the great care that the wise leadership gives to the houses of God, and its constant keenness to protect them and maintain their facilities and resources, and to enhance everything that would preserve them and elevate the services provided within them, creating an atmosphere of tranquility and humility for worshippers to perform their rituals.
He said: "This generous care for the houses of God is not surprising from a leadership that has made serving Islam and Muslims, and caring for mosques, their construction, and their maintenance a top priority. We in the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, feel the weight of this responsibility and trust, and we will continue to work with sincerity to preserve the houses of God, their facilities, and resources, and to implement everything that would protect and maintain them, in accordance with the directives of our wise leadership."
Utilizing Resources
Minister Al Sheikh pointed out that the decision enhances the system for protecting mosques and their facilities, and affirms their status and the care for what they contain in terms of facilities, equipment, and resources, stressing that the ministry will continue to fulfill its responsibilities in caring for the houses of God, maintaining them, and utilizing its resources to serve their visitors.
In conclusion of his statement, he prayed to Allah Almighty to protect the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and his trustworthy Crown Prince, and to reward them abundantly for their care and attention to the houses of God, and to sustain the security, stability, dignity, and prosperity of the Kingdom.
