أكد رئيس مجلس الأعمال السعودي المالطي في اتحاد الغرف السعودية عبدالهادي بن حسين الحبابي، أن اليوم الوطني السعودي يمثل مناسبة لاستحضار رحلة وطن انطلقت من ملحمة التوحيد، ووصلت اليوم إلى مرحلة من الحضور الاقتصادي والاستثماري والدولي غير المسبوق، مشيراً إلى أن هوية «عزّنا بطبعنا» تختصر منظومة قيم راسخة شكّلت الشخصية السعودية عبر تاريخها، وتمنحها اليوم الثقة للانفتاح على العالم.
وقال الحبابي لـ«عكاظ»، إن الملك عبدالعزيز بن عبدالرحمن (رحمه الله) وحّد البلاد على أسس راسخة من الدين والقيم والهوية العربية الأصيلة، وصنع من مجتمع متعدد المناطق دولة واحدة، لتصبح الوحدة والصلابة والوفاء للوطن من السمات المتجذرة في الشخصية السعودية.
عزّنا بطبعنا.. هوية صنعت الوحدة
وأوضح الحبابي، أن الطبع السعودي يتجاوز مفهوم الموروث الاجتماعي إلى منظومة قيم أسهمت في بناء الدولة، وقال: «الشجاعة والكرم والفزعة والوفاء والأصالة قيم رافقت رحلة التوحيد، واستمرت مع الأجيال حتى أصبحت جزءاً من هوية الإنسان السعودي وطريقته في التعامل مع وطنه ومجتمعه والعالم». وأضاف، أن قوة المملكة في حاضرها تنطلق من هذا العمق التاريخي؛ فالتحديث الاقتصادي والاجتماعي المتسارع يسير متوازياً مع الاعتزاز بالهوية والثقافة والقيم الوطنية.
من كرم المجتمع إلى عطاء الدولة
الحبابي أشار إلى أن الكرم السعودي تطور من قيمة اجتماعية متوارثة إلى منظومة إنسانية ومؤسسية تعبر الحدود، موضحاً أن حضور المملكة في إغاثة المتضررين ودعم البرامج التنموية والمبادرات الإنسانية حول العالم يمثل امتداداً حديثاً لقيمة قديمة في المجتمع السعودي «الكرم لدينا ثقافة، والجود ممارسة، والفزعة تظهر عند الحاجة. وحين تنتقل هذه الصفات إلى مستوى الدولة والمؤسسات فإنها تتحول إلى قوة إنسانية تعزز مكانة المملكة وثقة العالم بها».
عزّنا بطموحنا.. من التوحيد إلى 2030وربط الحبابي بين طموح الملك عبدالعزيز في توحيد دولة مترامية الأطراف والطموح التنموي الذي تقوده المملكة اليوم في عهد خادم الحرمين وولي العهد.
وأضاف: «رؤية السعودية 2030 نقلت مفهوم الطموح إلى مستوى جديد؛ فالمملكة تبني اقتصاداً أكثر تنوعاً، وتستثمر في التقنية والسياحة والصناعة والطاقة واللوجستيات والرياضة والثقافة، وتفتح أسواقها أمام الشراكات الدولية، وفي الوقت ذاته تدفع شركاتها ورأس مالها الوطني نحو فرص عالمية جديدة».
وأكد، أن هذه المرحلة تمنح القطاع الخاص السعودي مسؤولية أكبر في تحقيق مستهدفات الرؤية عبر الاستثمار، وتوطين المعرفة والتقنية، وتطوير الكفاءات الوطنية، وبناء شراكات قادرة على صناعة قيمة اقتصادية طويلة الأجل.
عزّنا بفزعتنا.. مجتمع يقف صفاً واحداً
ولفت الحبابي إلى أن «الفزعة» واحدة من السمات التي تكشف طبيعة المجتمع السعودي عند الملمات، إذ تتحول المسؤولية الفردية سريعاً إلى حالة من التكافل والعمل الجماعي. وقال إن التلاحم بين القيادة والشعب يمثل امتداداً لقيمة صاحبت المملكة منذ مراحل التوحيد، فيما تظهر اليوم بصورة مختلفة من خلال المشاركة في التنمية والعمل التطوعي والمبادرات المجتمعية وخدمة الوطن.
أصالة تمنح الانفتاح قوتهوأوضح الحبابي، أن الانفتاح السعودي المتسارع على الاقتصاد والثقافة والأسواق العالمية يأتي من أرضية وطنية صلبة، مضيفاً: «الأصالة تمنحنا الثقة في التعامل مع العالم. نستطيع بناء شراكات دولية واسعة لأننا نعرف هويتنا ونعتز بها، وهذا عنصر قوة في العلاقات الاقتصادية والاستثمارية».
ويرى، أن هذه المعادلة أصبحت واضحة في نموذج المملكة الجديد: هوية راسخة، واقتصاد منفتح، وطموح عالمي.
القيم تتحول إلى شراكات
واختتم الحبابي حديثه قائلاً: «في اليوم الوطني نستحضر ما صنعه الملك عبدالعزيز ورجاله، ونعيش ما تحقق في عهد خادم الحرمين الشريفين وولي عهده، وننظر بثقة إلى ما ينتظر المملكة. عزّنا بطبعنا يعني أن قيمنا ترافقنا أينما وصل طموحنا».
وأضاف: «السعودية اليوم تقدم نفسها للعالم بهويتها، واقتصادها، وإنسانها، وطموحها. وطن يعرف جذوره جيداً، ولهذا يعرف إلى أين يتجه».
استعرض الحبابي تطور العلاقات الاقتصادية السعودية المالطية، مؤكداً أن مجلس الأعمال السعودي المالطي يعمل على نقل العلاقة إلى مرحلة أكثر عمقاً، تقوم على الاستثمار والتجارة والتقنية والخدمات المالية والسياحة والضيافة واللوجستيات والقطاع البحري والطيران.
وأشار إلى أن تحركات المجلس خلال الفترة الماضية، شملت لقاءات بين قطاعي الأعمال في البلدين، وزيارة وفد أعمال سعودي إلى مالطا، وصولاً إلى توقيع مذكرة تفاهم بين اتحاد الغرف السعودية وغرفة مالطا للتجارة والمشاريع والصناعة، بما يؤسس لمسار أكثر تنظيماً للشراكات بين الشركات والمستثمرين.
وقال الحبابي: «هدفنا تحويل العلاقات المميزة إلى فرص ومشاريع قابلة للتنفيذ، وفتح مسارات جديدة أمام القطاع الخاص السعودي، والاستفادة من موقع مالطا وعلاقاتها الأوروبية في بناء شراكات تمتد إلى أسواق أوسع».

The Chairman of the Saudi-Maltese Business Council in the Federation of Saudi Chambers, Abdulhadi bin Hussein Al-Hababi, confirmed that the Saudi National Day represents an occasion to recall the journey of a nation that began with the epic of unification and has today reached an unprecedented level of economic, investment, and international presence. He pointed out that the identity of "Our Pride is in Our Nature" encapsulates a system of deep-rooted values that have shaped the Saudi personality throughout its history, giving it today the confidence to open up to the world.
Al-Hababi told "Okaz" that King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman (may God have mercy on him) unified the country on solid foundations of religion, values, and authentic Arab identity, creating a single state from a diverse society, making unity, resilience, and loyalty to the homeland deeply rooted traits in the Saudi character.
Our Pride is in Our Nature.. An Identity that Created Unity
Al-Hababi explained that the Saudi character transcends the concept of social heritage to a system of values that contributed to building the state. He said, "Courage, generosity, solidarity, loyalty, and authenticity are values that accompanied the unification journey and continued with generations until they became part of the Saudi identity and the way of dealing with the homeland, society, and the world." He added that the strength of the Kingdom today stems from this historical depth; the rapid economic and social modernization goes hand in hand with pride in identity, culture, and national values.
From Community Generosity to State Contribution
Al-Hababi pointed out that Saudi generosity has evolved from a hereditary social value to a humanitarian and institutional system that transcends borders, explaining that the Kingdom's presence in aiding the affected and supporting developmental programs and humanitarian initiatives around the world represents a modern extension of an old value in Saudi society. "Generosity is a culture for us, and giving is a practice, while solidarity appears when needed. When these traits are elevated to the level of the state and institutions, they transform into a humanitarian force that enhances the Kingdom's position and the world's trust in it."
Our Pride is in Our Ambition.. From Unification to 2030
Al-Hababi linked King Abdulaziz's ambition to unify a vast country with the developmental ambition that the Kingdom is leading today under the reign of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince.
He added, "Saudi Vision 2030 has elevated the concept of ambition to a new level; the Kingdom is building a more diversified economy, investing in technology, tourism, industry, energy, logistics, sports, and culture, and opening its markets to international partnerships, while simultaneously pushing its companies and national capital towards new global opportunities."
He affirmed that this phase grants the Saudi private sector a greater responsibility in achieving the vision's objectives through investment, localizing knowledge and technology, developing national competencies, and building partnerships capable of creating long-term economic value.
Our Pride is in Our Solidarity.. A Community Standing as One
Al-Hababi noted that "solidarity" is one of the traits that reveal the nature of Saudi society in times of crisis, as individual responsibility quickly transforms into a state of mutual support and collective action. He stated that the bond between leadership and the people represents an extension of a value that has accompanied the Kingdom since the unification stages, now manifesting differently through participation in development, volunteer work, community initiatives, and serving the homeland.
Authenticity Gives Strength to Openness
Al-Hababi explained that the accelerating Saudi openness to the economy, culture, and global markets comes from a solid national foundation, adding, "Authenticity gives us confidence in dealing with the world. We can build wide international partnerships because we know our identity and cherish it, and this is a strength in economic and investment relations."
He believes that this equation has become clear in the new model of the Kingdom: a solid identity, an open economy, and global ambition.
Values Transform into Partnerships
Al-Hababi concluded his remarks by saying, "On National Day, we recall what King Abdulaziz and his men achieved, we live what has been accomplished during the reign of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and his Crown Prince, and we look confidently to what awaits the Kingdom. Our Pride is in Our Nature means that our values accompany us wherever our ambition reaches."
He added, "Saudi Arabia today presents itself to the world with its identity, economy, people, and ambition. A homeland that knows its roots well, and for this reason knows where it is headed."
Al-Hababi reviewed the development of Saudi-Maltese economic relations, confirming that the Saudi-Maltese Business Council is working to elevate the relationship to a deeper level based on investment, trade, technology, financial services, tourism, hospitality, logistics, the maritime sector, and aviation.
He noted that the Council's activities over the past period included meetings between the business sectors of both countries, a visit by a Saudi business delegation to Malta, culminating in the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Federation of Saudi Chambers and the Malta Chamber of Commerce, Projects, and Industry, which establishes a more organized path for partnerships between companies and investors.
Al-Hababi stated, "Our goal is to transform the distinguished relations into executable opportunities and projects, opening new pathways for the Saudi private sector and benefiting from Malta's location and its European relations in building partnerships that extend to broader markets."
