أدانت الحكومة الأردنية، أمس، محاولة استهداف مكة المكرمة بطائرة مسيّرة أطلقتها مليشيا الحوثي، وعدّتها انتهاكاً سافراً لسيادة المملكة العربية السعودية، وتهديداً لأمنها واستقرارها وسلامة أراضيها، وخرقاً صارخاً للقانون الدولي، واعتداءً مرفوضاً يمثّل استهانةً بمكانة وقدسية مكة المكرمة ومساساً بمشاعر المسلمين.
وأكّد الناطق الرسمي باسم وزارة الخارجية الأردنية السفير فؤاد المجالي، تضامن الأردن المطلق مع المملكة، ووقوفها معها في كل ما تتخذه من خطوات لحماية أمنها واستقرارها وسلامة مواطنيها والمقيمين فيها.
The Jordanian government condemned yesterday the attempt to target Mecca with a drone launched by the Houthi militia, considering it a blatant violation of the sovereignty of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, a threat to its security, stability, and territorial integrity, a flagrant breach of international law, and an unacceptable assault that represents a disregard for the status and sanctity of Mecca and an affront to the feelings of Muslims.
The official spokesperson for the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Fouad Majali, affirmed Jordan's absolute solidarity with the Kingdom and its support for all measures it takes to protect its security, stability, and the safety of its citizens and residents.
