استقبل مفتي عام المملكة، رئيس هيئة كبار العلماء والرئيس العام للبحوث العلمية والإفتاء، الشيخ الدكتور صالح بن فوزان الفوزان، في مقر الرئاسة العامة للبحوث العلمية والإفتاء بمحافظة الطائف، رئيس مجلس إدارة جمعية «إكرام» لبنك الطعام الدكتور أحمد بن حربي المطرفي والوفد المرافق له.
وخلال اللقاء، أثنى مفتي عام المملكة على الجهود التي تبذلها الجمعية في حفظ النعمة والاستفادة من فائض الطعام وإيصاله إلى مستحقيه، مؤكداً أن هذه الأعمال تعزز قيم التكافل والتراحم وتخدم المجتمع بصورة عملية وفاعلة.
واستمع الشيخ الفوزان إلى عرض مفصل حول برامج الجمعية ومبادراتها في الحد من الهدر الغذائي وتنظيم موارد الطعام، إضافة إلى الخدمات التي تقدمها للمستفيدين بما يدعم العمل الخيري ويعزز الاستفادة المثلى من الموارد الغذائية. وأكد أهمية مشروعات حفظ النعمة وما تعكسه من قيم إسلامية راسخة في شكر الله تعالى والمحافظة على النعم والتعاون على البر والتقوى، سائلاً الله أن يبارك في جهود القائمين على الجمعية ويوفقهم لكل خير.

The Grand Mufti of the Kingdom, Chairman of the Council of Senior Scholars and the General President of Scientific Research and Ifta, Sheikh Dr. Saleh bin Fawzan Al-Fawzan, received at the headquarters of the General Presidency for Scientific Research and Ifta in Taif, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the "Ikram" Food Bank, Dr. Ahmed bin Harbi Al-Mutrifi, and his accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, the Grand Mufti praised the efforts made by the association in preserving blessings and benefiting from surplus food and delivering it to those in need, affirming that these actions enhance the values of solidarity and compassion and serve the community in a practical and effective manner.
Sheikh Al-Fawzan listened to a detailed presentation about the association's programs and initiatives aimed at reducing food waste and organizing food resources, in addition to the services it provides to beneficiaries that support charitable work and enhance the optimal use of food resources. He emphasized the importance of projects aimed at preserving blessings and what they reflect of deep-rooted Islamic values in thanking Allah Almighty, maintaining blessings, and cooperating in righteousness and piety, asking Allah to bless the efforts of those in charge of the association and grant them success in all good.
The Secretary-General of the Council of Senior Scholars, Sheikh Dr. Fahd bin Saad Al-Majid, attended the meeting.
