دشن أمير منطقة نجران الأمير جلوي بن عبدالعزيز بن مساعد، في مكتبه عدداً من المشاريع التطويرية بنادي الأخدود الرياضي، بحضور المدير العام لفرع وزارة الرياضة بالمنطقة سلطان بن حسن بن شايع، ورئيس مجلس إدارة نادي الأخدود الرياضي سامي بن هديش آل فاضل، وعدد من أعضاء مجلس الإدارة بالنادي.
وتضمنت المشاريع تطوير الملعب الرئيسي والملعب الرديف، وتشمل تأهيل غرف الملابس وغرف الحكام ومدخل الملعب الرئيسي ومرافق اللجان الرياضية والمركز الإعلامي والمبنى الإداري والملاعب الخارجية، وتطوير المسارات الخارجية والمواقف والصالات الرياضية ومسبح النادي وإسكان اللاعبين.
ونوه أمير منطقة نجران بالدعم الذي توليه القيادة الرشيدة لقطاع الرياضة بالمملكة، مؤكداً أهمية مواصلة العمل على تطوير البيئة الرياضية في المنطقة، وتكامل الجهود بين الجهات ذات العلاقة، بما يعزز حضورها في المشهد الرياضي، ويعكس تميز شبابها والمواهب التي تحتضنها أنديتها.
من جهته ثمن آل فاضل لأمير المنطقة ما تلقاه الأندية الرياضية في المنطقة من دعم كان له الأثر في تجاوز التحديات، واعداً ببذل قصارى الجهود لرفعة مستوى الرياضة بالمنطقة.
The Prince of Najran, Prince Jalwa bin Abdulaziz bin Musaid, inaugurated a number of development projects at the Al-Akhadood Sports Club in his office, in the presence of the General Director of the Ministry of Sports branch in the region, Sultan bin Hassan bin Shaya, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Akhadood Sports Club, Sami bin Hadeesh Al-Fadel, and several members of the club's board of directors.
The projects included the development of the main stadium and the training field, which encompass the rehabilitation of changing rooms, referees' rooms, the entrance to the main stadium, the facilities for sports committees, the media center, the administrative building, and the outdoor fields, as well as the development of external pathways, parking lots, sports halls, the club's swimming pool, and player housing.
The Prince of Najran praised the support provided by the wise leadership to the sports sector in the Kingdom, emphasizing the importance of continuing efforts to develop the sports environment in the region and the integration of efforts among the relevant entities, which enhances its presence in the sports scene and reflects the excellence of its youth and the talents nurtured by its clubs.
For his part, Al-Fadel expressed his gratitude to the Prince of the region for the support received by sports clubs in the area, which has had a positive impact in overcoming challenges, promising to exert utmost efforts to elevate the level of sports in the region.
