أعرب الأمين العام لمجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية جاسم محمد البديوي، عن إدانته واستنكاره بأشد العبارات للاعتداءات الإرهابية الآثمة التي نفذتها المليشيات الحوثية باستهداف منطقة نجران في المملكة العربية السعودية، وأسفرت عن إصابة عدد من المدنيين الأبرياء، في اعتداء غادر وجبان يجسد النهج الإجرامي لهذه المليشيات.
وأكد البديوي، أن هذه الجريمة الإرهابية النكراء للمليشيات الحوثية، تمثل انتهاكًا صارخًا للقانون الدولي والقانون الدولي الإنساني، وجريمة تستوجب المساءلة، لما انطوت عليه من استهداف متعمد وعشوائي للمدنيين والأعيان المدنية، في تحدٍ سافر لجميع الأعراف والمواثيق الدولية، وتهديد خطير للأمن والاستقرار الإقليمي والدولي.
وشدد البديوي، على أن أمن المملكة العربية السعودية جزء لا يتجزأ من أمن دول مجلس التعاون، وأن المجلس يقف صفًا واحدًا مع المملكة، ويؤيدها في كل ما تتخذه من إجراءات لحماية أمنها وسيادتها وسلامة أراضيها، وصون أمن مواطنيها والمقيمين على أرضها.

The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Jasem Mohammed Al-Budaiwi, expressed his strongest condemnation and denunciation of the heinous terrorist attacks carried out by the Houthi militias targeting the Najran region in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which resulted in the injury of a number of innocent civilians, in a treacherous and cowardly assault that embodies the criminal approach of these militias.
Al-Budaiwi affirmed that this heinous terrorist crime by the Houthi militias represents a blatant violation of international law and international humanitarian law, and is a crime that warrants accountability, due to its deliberate and indiscriminate targeting of civilians and civilian objects, in a blatant challenge to all international norms and treaties, and poses a serious threat to regional and international security and stability.
Al-Budaiwi emphasized that the security of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is an integral part of the security of the Gulf Cooperation Council states, and that the Council stands united with the Kingdom, supporting it in all measures it takes to protect its security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, and to safeguard the security of its citizens and residents on its land.
