حذّرت الهيئة العامة للغذاء والدواء من استهلاك ثلاثة منتجات غذائية، بعد أن أظهرت نتائج التحاليل المخبرية احتواءها على مادة (Nortadalafil) التي لا يُسمح باستخدامها، موضحةً أن المنتجات تشمل قهوة مع الجينسنغ للعلامة التجارية (بارسا كافيه) وشوكلاتة داكنة مع الجنسنغ للعلامة التجارية (بارسا شوكو)، وقهوة مع الجينسنغ للعلامة التجارية (بنتان سكاي)، وذلك لجميع التشغيلات، وهي منتجات معبأة في عبوات تزن 100 جرام على هيئة أظرف.
ودعت «الهيئة» المستهلكين إلى عدم استهلاك المنتجات المشار إليها والتخلص منها، مشيرةً إلى أنها قد تتسبب بمشكلات صحية لمن يعانون الأمراض المزمنة، مؤكدةً في الوقت ذاته اتخاذها الإجراءات النظامية اللازمة لسحبها من الأسواق ومتابعة سلامة المنتجات الغذائية المتداولة، واتخاذ ما يلزم من إجراءات نظامية لحماية سلامة المستهلك.
وشددت «الغذاء والدواء» على أنها لن تتهاون مع أي مخالفة تمس سلامة المواطنين والمقيمين، مؤكدة اتخاذ الإجراءات النظامية بحق الشركات المستوردة، مشيرة إلى أن مخالفة نظام الغذاء ولائحته التنفيذية قد تستوجب السجن مدة لا تزيد على 10 سنوات، أو غرامةً تصل إلى 10 ملايين ريال، أو العقوبتين معاً.
وحثّت «الهيئة» المستهلكين على الإبلاغ عن أي مخالفات تتعلق بالمنتجات الغذائية عبر مركز الاتصال الموحد 19999، بما يسهم في تعزيز الرقابة على المنتجات، وتحقيق سلامتها.
The General Authority for Food and Drug Administration has warned against the consumption of three food products, after laboratory analysis results showed that they contain the substance (Nortadalafil), which is not permitted for use. It clarified that the products include coffee with ginseng from the brand (Barsah Cafe), dark chocolate with ginseng from the brand (Barsah Choco), and coffee with ginseng from the brand (Bentan Sky), applicable to all batches, and these products are packaged in 100-gram envelopes.
The Authority urged consumers not to consume the mentioned products and to dispose of them, noting that they may cause health problems for those suffering from chronic diseases. It also confirmed that it has taken the necessary regulatory measures to withdraw them from the markets and to monitor the safety of circulating food products, and to take any necessary regulatory actions to protect consumer safety.
The Food and Drug Administration emphasized that it will not tolerate any violations that affect the safety of citizens and residents, confirming that regulatory actions will be taken against the importing companies. It pointed out that violating the Food Law and its executive regulations may result in imprisonment for a period not exceeding 10 years, or a fine of up to 10 million riyals, or both penalties together.
The Authority urged consumers to report any violations related to food products through the unified call center 19999, which contributes to enhancing oversight on products and ensuring their safety.
