أكد خبراء، أن استضافة المملكة للأحداث العلمية الدولية لم تعد مجرد تنظيم منافسات أو ملتقيات، بل أصبحت أداة إستراتيجية لتعزيز القوة الناعمة، واستقطاب العقول، وتحفيز الابتكار، وبناء الشراكات البحثية، ونقل المعرفة، بما ينسجم مع توجهات المملكة لترسيخ مكانتها كمركز عالمي للعلوم والتقنية والابتكار.
وأشار الخبراء، إلى أن احتضان محافظة جدة للنسخة الثالثة من أولمبياد العلوم النووية الدولي إنسو 2026، بمشاركة 19 دولة يمثلها نخبة من الطلبة والباحثين، والتي أقيمت برعاية نائب أمير منطقة مكة المكرمة الأمير سعود بن مشعل بن عبدالعزيز، وافتتحها نيابة عنه محافظ جدة الأمير سعود بن عبدالله بن جلوي، يأتي امتدادًا لدور المملكة في دعم العلوم المتقدمة وتعزيز التعاون الدولي في المجالات العلمية ذات الأولوية، انسجامًا مع مستهدفات رؤية السعودية 2030 الهادفة إلى بناء اقتصاد معرفي قائم على الابتكار والاستثمار في رأس المال البشري.
ويبرهن تنظيم هذا الحدث العلمي الدولي قدرة المملكة على استضافة الفعاليات العلمية الكبرى وفق أعلى المعايير التنظيمية، وتوفير بيئة معرفية متكاملة تُسهم في تبادل الخبرات وتعزيز التواصل بين الباحثين والطلاب، وإيجاد منصات للحوار العلمي وتبادل التجارب الناجحة في التطبيقات السلمية للعلوم والتقنيات النووية.
كما تعكس استضافة المملكة لهذه الأولمبياد الثقة الدولية المتنامية في قدراتها التنظيمية والعلمية، ودورها الفاعل في تمكين المواهب، وتوفير منصات عالمية للتنافس المعرفي، بما يعزز حضور الكفاءات الوطنية في المحافل الدولية، ويفتح آفاقًا أوسع للتعاون مع المؤسسات العلمية والبحثية حول العالم.
Experts confirmed that the Kingdom's hosting of international scientific events has evolved from merely organizing competitions or gatherings to becoming a strategic tool for enhancing soft power, attracting minds, stimulating innovation, building research partnerships, and transferring knowledge, in line with the Kingdom's aspirations to establish itself as a global center for science, technology, and innovation.
Experts pointed out that the hosting of the third edition of the International Nuclear Science Olympiad, INSO 2026, in Jeddah, with the participation of 19 countries represented by a select group of students and researchers, which was held under the patronage of the Deputy Emir of the Makkah Region, Prince Saud bin Mishal bin Abdulaziz, and inaugurated on his behalf by the Governor of Jeddah, Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Jalawi, is a continuation of the Kingdom's role in supporting advanced sciences and enhancing international cooperation in priority scientific fields, in alignment with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 aimed at building a knowledge-based economy founded on innovation and investment in human capital.
The organization of this international scientific event demonstrates the Kingdom's ability to host major scientific activities according to the highest organizational standards, providing a comprehensive knowledge environment that contributes to the exchange of experiences and enhances communication between researchers and students, as well as creating platforms for scientific dialogue and sharing successful experiences in the peaceful applications of nuclear sciences and technologies.
Moreover, the Kingdom's hosting of this Olympiad reflects the growing international confidence in its organizational and scientific capabilities, and its active role in empowering talents, providing global platforms for intellectual competition, thereby enhancing the presence of national competencies in international forums and opening broader horizons for cooperation with scientific and research institutions around the world.
