أشاد تقرير صادر عن وزارة الاقتصاد والتخطيط، بالتعاون مع برنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي (UNDP)، بجهود المملكة في دعم التنمية والتعاون مع دول الجنوب العالمي، ونقل المعرفة وبناء القدرات، خصوصاً في مجال الذكاء الاصطناعي.
وسلط التقرير الضوء على دور الهيئة السعودية للبيانات والذكاء الاصطناعي «سدايا» في تعزيز التعاون الدولي، وتوظيف الذكاء الاصطناعي لخدمة التنمية المستدامة، كما استعرض مبادرات المركز الدولي لأبحاث وأخلاقيات الذكاء الاصطناعي (ICAIRE) في الرياض، ومبادرة Elevate التي تستهدف تدريب 25 ألف امرأة حول العالم، ووصلت حتى الآن إلى أكثر من 6 آلاف مستفيدة من أكثر من 60 دولة.
وأشار التقرير إلى أن القمة العالمية للذكاء الاصطناعي التي تنظمها «سدايا» أصبحت منصة دولية تجمع صناع القرار والخبراء لتعزيز الحوار حول الاستخدام المسؤول للذكاء الاصطناعي، بما يعكس تنامي دور المملكة في بناء القدرات ونقل المعرفة ودعم أهداف التنمية المستدامة.
A report issued by the Ministry of Economy and Planning, in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), praised the Kingdom's efforts in supporting development and cooperation with countries of the Global South, as well as knowledge transfer and capacity building, particularly in the field of artificial intelligence.
The report highlighted the role of the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) in enhancing international cooperation and utilizing artificial intelligence to serve sustainable development. It also reviewed the initiatives of the International Center for Artificial Intelligence Research and Ethics (ICAIRE) in Riyadh, and the Elevate initiative, which aims to train 25,000 women worldwide and has so far reached over 6,000 beneficiaries from more than 60 countries.
The report noted that the Global Artificial Intelligence Summit organized by SDAIA has become an international platform that brings together decision-makers and experts to promote dialogue on the responsible use of artificial intelligence, reflecting the Kingdom's growing role in capacity building, knowledge transfer, and supporting sustainable development goals.
