طالت حملة رقابية، العاشرة من نوعها من مطلع يوليو، أسواق الماشية في منطقة مكة المكرمة لضمان تطبيق الشروط الصحية والبيطرية وحماية المستهلك، ورفع جودة الخدمات في أسواق النفع العام.
وتنفذ الحملة التي انطلقت في 1 يوليو ضمن برنامج وطني يشمل مختلف مناطق السعودية للحد من المخالفات، ورفع مستوى الامتثال للقانون. وطبقاً لمدير فرع وزارة البيئة بمنطقة مكة المكرمة وليد آل دغيس، تهدف الحملة إلى ترسيخ منظومة رقابية فاعلة تضمن سلامة تداول الماشية، من خلال جولات ميدانية تنفذها فرق الرقابة في محافظات المنطقة بالتعاون مع الجهات ذات العلاقة، لتوعية ملاك الماشية والباعة والعاملين في الأسواق، وتعريفهم بمتطلبات النقل والعرض النظامي ومعايير الصحة البيطرية.
A monitoring campaign, the tenth of its kind since the beginning of July, has targeted livestock markets in the Makkah region to ensure the application of health and veterinary conditions, protect consumers, and enhance the quality of services in public markets.
The campaign, which started on July 1 as part of a national program covering various regions of Saudi Arabia to reduce violations and increase compliance with the law, aims to establish an effective regulatory system that ensures the safe trading of livestock. According to Walid Al-Daghis, the director of the Ministry of Environment branch in the Makkah region, the campaign involves field tours conducted by monitoring teams in the region's governorates in cooperation with relevant authorities, to educate livestock owners, sellers, and workers in the markets, and to inform them about the requirements for transportation, proper display, and veterinary health standards.
