أشاد رئيس الجمعية الوطنية لحقوق الإنسان خالد عبدالرحمن الفاخري، باعتماد مجلس حقوق الإنسان التابع للأمم المتحدة بالإجماع، القرار الذي تقدمت به المملكة العربية السعودية بشأن تمكين المرأة في مجال الأمن السيبراني، والمستند إلى المبادرة العالمية التي أطلقها ولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان.
وأكد الفاخري، أن اعتماد القرار يعكس المكانة الدولية التي تحظى بها المبادرات السعودية، وما تناله من ثقة وتقدير على المستوى العالمي، إلى جانب دورها في تطوير الأطر والمعايير الدولية المرتبطة بحقوق الإنسان، بما يسهم في دعم أهداف التنمية المستدامة.
وأشار إلى أن مبادرة ولي العهد تجسد رؤية مستقبلية تستجيب للتغيرات المتسارعة التي يشهدها العالم، وتنطلق من قناعة بأن تمكين المرأة في مجال الأمن السيبراني يتجاوز توسيع مشاركتها في القطاعات التقنية، ليشكل عنصراً أساسياً في بناء القدرات الوطنية، وتعزيز الأمن الإنساني، ودعم الاقتصاد المعرفي.
وأضاف، أن القرار يمثل خطوة نوعية في مسار تعزيز حقوق الإنسان، إذ يربط بين تمكين المرأة والتحول الرقمي والأمن السيبراني، بما يعكس استجابة المجتمع الدولي للتحديات الحقوقية المستجدة، ويؤكد أهمية تبني مبادرات عملية تعزز التعاون الدولي لمواجهة هذه التحديات.
The President of the National Human Rights Association, Khalid Abdulrahman Al-Fakhri, praised the unanimous adoption by the United Nations Human Rights Council of the resolution presented by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia regarding the empowerment of women in the field of cybersecurity, which is based on the global initiative launched by Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman.
Al-Fakhri affirmed that the adoption of the resolution reflects the international standing of Saudi initiatives and the trust and appreciation they receive globally, along with their role in developing international frameworks and standards related to human rights, which contributes to supporting sustainable development goals.
He pointed out that the Crown Prince's initiative embodies a future vision that responds to the rapid changes occurring in the world, stemming from the conviction that empowering women in the field of cybersecurity goes beyond expanding their participation in technical sectors, forming a fundamental element in building national capacities, enhancing human security, and supporting the knowledge economy.
He added that the resolution represents a qualitative step in the path of enhancing human rights, as it links the empowerment of women with digital transformation and cybersecurity, reflecting the international community's response to emerging human rights challenges, and emphasizing the importance of adopting practical initiatives that enhance international cooperation to address these challenges.
