أعربت رابطة العالم الإسلامي عن إدانتها الشديدة لاستمرار الاعتداءات الإسرائيلية على الجمهورية اللبنانية، وآخرها استهداف عددٍ من أفراد الجيش اللبناني أثناء أداء واجبهم الوطني.
وفي بيانٍ صادر عن الأمانة العامة أمس، ندّد الأمين العام لرابطة العالم الإسلامي رئيس هيئة علماء المسلمين الشيخ الدكتور محمد عبدالكريم العيسى، بهذه الانتهاكات المتكررة لسيادة لبنان واستهداف جيشه، مؤكّداً أنها تمثل خرقاً جسيماً للأعراف والقوانين الدولية والإنسانية.
وتقدّم العيسى بخالص التعازي والمواساة لذوي ضحايا الاعتداء الأخير وللشعب اللبناني كافة، مجدّداً تأكيد التضامن الكامل مع الجمهورية اللبنانية في مواجهة كل ما يمسّ أمنها واستقرارها وسيادتها.
The Muslim World League expressed its strong condemnation of the ongoing Israeli assaults on the Lebanese Republic, the latest of which targeted a number of Lebanese army personnel while they were performing their national duty.
In a statement issued by the General Secretariat yesterday, the Secretary-General of the Muslim World League and Chairman of the Association of Muslim Scholars, Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa, denounced these repeated violations of Lebanon's sovereignty and the targeting of its army, affirming that they represent a grave breach of international and humanitarian norms and laws.
Al-Issa extended his heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims of the recent assault and to the entire Lebanese people, reiterating full solidarity with the Lebanese Republic in facing all that threatens its security, stability, and sovereignty.
