نيابةً عن خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود، سلّم نائب أمير منطقة مكة المكرمة نائب رئيس اللجنة الدائمة للحج والعمرة الأمير سعود بن مشعل بن عبدالعزيز، كسوة الكعبة المشرفة إلى سدنة بيت الله الحرام.
ووقّع محاضر التسليم، وزير الحج والعمرة رئيس مجلس إدارة الهيئة العامة للعناية بشؤون المسجد الحرام والمسجد النبوي الدكتور توفيق الربيعة، وكبير سدنة بيت الله الحرام عبدالملك بن طه الشيبي.
وتأتي مراسم التسليم إيذاناً باستبدال كسوة الكعبة مطلع شهر محرم 1448هـ، بعد أن أتمّت الهيئة صناعة الكسوة الجديدة لهذا العام في مجمع الملك عبدالعزيز لكسوة الكعبة المشرفة، باستخدام الحرير الطبيعي المصبوغ باللون الأسود.
ويبلغ ارتفاع ثوب الكعبة 14 متراً، ويتوسط ثلثه الأعلى حزام بعرض 95 سنتيمتراً وطول 47 متراً، مكوّن من 16 قطعة محاطة بزخارف إسلامية.
وتجسّد مراسم التسليم عناية القيادة الرشيدة بالكعبة المشرفة، واهتمامها بجميع مراحل صناعة الكسوة واستبدالها وفق أعلى معايير الدقة والإتقان.
On behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Deputy Emir of the Makkah Region and Vice Chairman of the Permanent Committee for Hajj and Umrah, Prince Saud bin Mishal bin Abdulaziz, handed over the Kiswa of the Holy Kaaba to the custodians of the Sacred House of Allah.
The handover documents were signed by the Minister of Hajj and Umrah and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Authority for the Care of the Two Holy Mosques, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, and the Chief Custodian of the Sacred House of Allah, Abdul Malik bin Taha Al-Shaibi.
The handover ceremony marks the replacement of the Kiswa of the Kaaba at the beginning of the month of Muharram 1448 AH, after the authority completed the production of the new Kiswa for this year at the King Abdulaziz Complex for the Kiswa of the Holy Kaaba, using natural silk dyed black.
The height of the Kaaba's dress is 14 meters, and its upper third features a belt 95 centimeters wide and 47 meters long, made up of 16 pieces surrounded by Islamic decorations.
The handover ceremony reflects the wise leadership's care for the Holy Kaaba and its attention to all stages of the Kiswa's production and replacement according to the highest standards of precision and craftsmanship.
