أكد سفير خادم الحرمين الشريفين لدى بنغلاديش الدكتور عبدالله بن ظافر بن عبيه، أهمية مبادرة «طريق مكة» التي تُنفَّذ للعام السادس في مطار شاه جلال الدولي، موضحاً أنها إحدى مبادرات وزارة الداخلية ضمن برنامج خدمة ضيوف الرحمن في رؤية المملكة 2030، وتهدف إلى تسهيل إجراءات الحجاج وإنهاء سفرهم من بلدهم بكل يسر وطمأنينة.
وأشار السفير السعودي إلى أن المبادرة أصبحت نموذجاً ناجحاً للتعاون بين المملكة وبنغلاديش، ورسالة أمان واطمئنان لضيوف الرحمن، إذ أثبتت نجاحها واستدامتها، وعكست تكامل الجهات الحكومية السعودية في خدمة الحجاج بكفاءة عالية.
وثمّن السفير السعودي، التفاعل الرسمي البنغلاديشي مع المبادرة، والذي ظهر في حضور رئيس الوزراء وعدد من الوزراء لتوديع أول فوج من الحجاج، مؤكداً أن هذا التفاعل الشعبي والرسمي يعكس عمق العلاقات الثنائية والشراكة الإستراتيجية بين البلدين.
وأوضح، أن المبادرة أسهمت في تعزيز التنسيق بين الجهات الحكومية، ورفع كفاءة الإجراءات، وتبادل الخبرات في مجالات الجوازات والصحة والخدمات اللوجستية، كما حسّنت من أداء منظمي رحلات الحج والعمرة عبر توحيد الإجراءات وتقليل التحديات التشغيلية. وأكد السفير بن عبيه، متانة العلاقات السعودية البنغلاديشية وتطورها المستمر في مختلف المجالات، بما في ذلك التعاون الاقتصادي في الطاقة والبنية التحتية والموارد البشرية والاستثمار، مشيراً إلى وجود فرص واعدة لتعزيز الشراكة بما يخدم التنمية في البلدين.
The Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Bangladesh, Dr. Abdullah bin Zafer bin Abiah, emphasized the importance of the "Makkah Route" initiative, which is being implemented for the sixth year at Shahjalal International Airport. He explained that it is one of the initiatives of the Ministry of Interior under the Guest of Rahman Service Program in the Kingdom's Vision 2030, aiming to facilitate the procedures for pilgrims and ensure their travel from their country with ease and reassurance.
The Saudi ambassador noted that the initiative has become a successful model of cooperation between the Kingdom and Bangladesh, serving as a message of safety and reassurance for the Guests of Rahman, as it has proven its success and sustainability, reflecting the integration of Saudi governmental agencies in serving pilgrims with high efficiency.
The Saudi ambassador praised the official Bangladeshi interaction with the initiative, which was evident in the attendance of the Prime Minister and several ministers to bid farewell to the first group of pilgrims, affirming that this popular and official interaction reflects the depth of bilateral relations and the strategic partnership between the two countries.
He explained that the initiative has contributed to enhancing coordination among governmental agencies, improving the efficiency of procedures, and exchanging expertise in the fields of passports, health, and logistics services. It has also improved the performance of Hajj and Umrah trip organizers by standardizing procedures and reducing operational challenges. Ambassador bin Abiah confirmed the strength of Saudi-Bangladeshi relations and their continuous development in various fields, including economic cooperation in energy, infrastructure, human resources, and investment, pointing out the promising opportunities to enhance the partnership in a way that serves the development of both countries.
