في انتهاك جديد لوقف إطلاق النار، شنّ الطيران الحربي الإسرائيلي سلسلة غارات على مناطق عدة في جنوب لبنان، بالتزامن مع عمليات تفجير وقصف مدفعي نفذتها القوات الإسرائيلية في عدد من البلدات الحدودية.
وأكدت «الوكالة الوطنية للإعلام» اللبنانية الرسمية، اليوم (الأربعاء)، أن الطيران الإسرائيلي شن، بعد منتصف الليل، سلسلة غارات استهدفت مرتفع علي الطاهر عند أطراف بلدة النبطية الفوقا ودوحة كفررمان، إضافة إلى أطراف بلدة دير سريان.
ونفذت القوات الإسرائيلية، فجر الأربعاء، عملية تفجير في بلدة حداثا جنوبي لبنان، فيما شهدت بلدة المنصوري عمليات تفجير خلال ساعات الليل. وأضافت الوكالة أن القوات الإسرائيلية أطلقت عدداً من القذائف باتجاه بلدة مجدل زون والأودية المحيطة بها.
وألقت القوات الإسرائيلية قنابل مضيئة في أجواء منطقتي صور وبنت جبيل، في وقت استمر فيه النشاط العسكري الإسرائيلي في مناطق متفرقة من الجنوب. ولم ترد معلومات عن سقوط قتلى أو مصابين جراء الغارات والتفجيرات الأخيرة، أو عن حجم الأضرار التي خلفتها.
وتأتي هذه التطورات في ظل استمرار التوتر في جنوب لبنان، بعد أيام شهدت غارات إسرائيلية دامية وعمليات عسكرية متفرقة، بالتزامن مع استمرار الضغوط والمساعي الدبلوماسية لاحتواء التصعيد.
وكان المتحدث باسم قوة الأمم المتحدة المؤقتة في لبنان «يونيفيل» داني الغفري، كشف عن رصد «ارتفاع ملحوظ» في النشاط العسكري الإسرائيلي في جنوب لبنان خلال الأسبوعين الماضيين، محذراً في الوقت ذاته من «هشاشة الوضع الأمني» في أعقاب الهجمات الأخيرة. وقال الغفري، في تصريحات إن قوات حفظ السلام التابعين للبعثة يواصلون رصد الانتهاكات المرتبطة بالقرار 1701 داخل منطقة عمليات اليونيفيل جنوب نهر الليطاني، لافتاً إلى تسجيل أرقام مرتفعة في عدد المقذوفات بالجنوب.
واعتبر أن حدة العنف ما زالت أقل بكثير مما كانت عليه في الأشهر الماضية، إلا أن الوضع العام ما زال هشاً.
ودعا المتحدث باسم اليونيفيل جميع الأطراف إلى ضبط النفس ووقف التصعيد والعودة إلى الالتزام بتنفيذ القرار 1701.
In a new violation of the ceasefire, Israeli warplanes launched a series of airstrikes on several areas in southern Lebanon, coinciding with explosions and artillery shelling carried out by Israeli forces in a number of border towns.
The Lebanese National News Agency confirmed today (Wednesday) that Israeli aircraft carried out, after midnight, a series of strikes targeting the Ali al-Taher Heights at the outskirts of the town of Nabatiyeh al-Fawqa and the town of Kfar Rumman, in addition to the outskirts of the town of Deir Siryan.
Israeli forces executed an explosion operation in the town of Hadatha in southern Lebanon early Wednesday, while the town of Al-Mansouri witnessed explosions during the night hours. The agency added that Israeli forces fired several shells towards the town of Majdal Zoun and the surrounding valleys.
Israeli forces dropped illuminating flares in the skies over the areas of Tyre and Bint Jbeil, while Israeli military activity continued in various parts of the south. No information has been reported about casualties or injuries resulting from the recent airstrikes and explosions, or about the extent of the damage caused.
These developments come amid ongoing tension in southern Lebanon, following days that witnessed deadly Israeli airstrikes and scattered military operations, alongside continued diplomatic pressures and efforts to contain the escalation.
The spokesperson for the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), Dani Al-Ghafri, revealed a "notable increase" in Israeli military activity in southern Lebanon over the past two weeks, warning at the same time of the "fragility of the security situation" following the recent attacks. Al-Ghafri stated in remarks that the peacekeeping forces of the mission continue to monitor violations related to Resolution 1701 within UNIFIL's area of operations south of the Litani River, noting a high number of projectiles recorded in the south.
He considered that the intensity of violence is still much lower than it was in previous months, but the overall situation remains fragile.
The UNIFIL spokesperson called on all parties to exercise restraint, stop the escalation, and return to commitment to implementing Resolution 1701.
