تمضي المملكة العربية السعودية بخطى ثابتة نحو بناء اقتصاد معرفي ومجتمع تنافسي، مرتكزة في جوهرها على تنمية رأس المال البشري باعتباره الركيزة الأساسية لتحقيق التنمية المستدامة والتحول الوطني الشامل، وذلك ضمن مستهدفات رؤية السعودية 2030 التي وضعت الإنسان السعودي في قلب أولوياتها، بوصفه المورد الأثمن والمحرك الرئيس لمسيرة التطوير.
وفي هذا السياق، أُطلِقَ برنامج تنمية القدرات البشرية ليكون أحد أهم البرامج المحورية للرؤية، بهدف إعداد مواطن سعودي يمتلك المهارات والمعارف والقيم التي تمكّنه من المنافسة عالمياً، والاستجابة لمتطلبات سوق العمل المتجددة، بما يعزز مكانة المملكة على خريطة الاقتصاد العالمي.
وقد شمل البرنامج مبادرات إستراتيجية نوعية، من أبرزها مبادرة البرامج الجامعية القصيرة «MicroX» التي تقدّم بشكل رقمي، من خلال المنصة الوطنية للتعليم الإلكتروني FutureX، لتكون إحدى الأدوات الفاعلة في تمكين المواطنين بالمهارات المستقبلية، من خلال فرص تعليمية مرنة وقصيرة المدى ترتبط مباشرة بالمسارات المهنية.
ومنذ انطلاقها، حققت المبادرة منجزات ملموسة، إذ بلغ عدد المستفيدين أكثر من 7000 متدرب ومتدربة، كما أُتيح ما يزيد على 65 برنامجاً جامعياً قصيراً، إلى جانب اعتماد 11 تخصصاً علمياً تسهم في تلبية حاجات القطاعات المختلفة. ولم تتوقف المبادرة عند ذلك، بل عززت حضورها من خلال عقد شراكات إستراتيجية مع أكثر من 200 جهة محلية وعالمية، الأمر الذي أتاح فرصاً واسعة لتبادل الخبرات، وضمان جودة المخرجات التعليمية، بما يواكب طموحات التنمية الوطنية.
وتغطي البرامج المطروحة طيفاً واسعاً من المجالات المرتبطة بالتحولات العالمية وسوق العمل الحديث، إذ شملت تخصصات في التقنية مثل الذكاء الاصطناعي والأمن السيبراني والحوسبة السحابية، وأخرى في الصحة العامة مثل التثقيف الصحي والأخلاقيات الصحية والسياسات الصحية، إضافة إلى تخصصات في الإدارة والاقتصاد كإدارة المخاطر المالية والنقل الذكي واللوجستيات الذكية، فضلاً عن مجالات الثقافة والإبداع بما يعزز الهوية الوطنية ويرسخ مكانة المملكة على المستوى الحضاري.
ويأتي هذا التنوع ليؤكد شمولية المبادرة ومرونتها في مواكبة مختلف القطاعات، كما يسهم في رفع جاهزية الشباب لدخول سوق العمل بمهارات متقدمة، ويمنحهم فرصاً أكبر للتوظيف أو إطلاق مشاريع ريادية مبتكرة، بما يترجم تطلعات القيادة الرشيدة إلى واقع ملموس. وتستهدف المبادرة خلال المرحلة القادمة التوسع في تقديم 350 برنامجاً جامعياً قصيراً، في خطوة تعكس التزام المملكة المستمر ببناء جيل مؤهل وقادر على التكيف مع متغيرات المستقبل. وبهذا، تواصل مبادرة «MicroX» إسهامها في رسم ملامح التحول الوطني، وتعزيز المواءمة بين مخرجات التعليم وحاجات سوق العمل، وكذلك ترسيخ دور السعودية كداعم رئيسي للتعليم الإلكتروني والتدريب النوعي، ورافد أساسي لبناء مجتمع تنافسي واقتصاد قائم على المعرفة.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is steadily moving towards building a knowledge-based economy and a competitive society, fundamentally focusing on the development of human capital as the essential pillar for achieving sustainable development and comprehensive national transformation. This is part of the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, which places the Saudi citizen at the heart of its priorities, considering them the most valuable resource and the main driver of the development process.
In this context, the Human Capacity Development Program was launched to be one of the most important pivotal programs of the vision, aiming to prepare a Saudi citizen equipped with the skills, knowledge, and values that enable them to compete globally and respond to the evolving labor market demands, thereby enhancing the Kingdom's position on the global economic map.
The program includes strategic qualitative initiatives, among the most prominent of which is the short university programs initiative "MicroX," which is offered digitally through the national e-learning platform FutureX. This initiative serves as an effective tool for empowering citizens with future skills through flexible and short-term educational opportunities directly linked to professional pathways.
Since its launch, the initiative has achieved tangible accomplishments, with the number of beneficiaries exceeding 7,000 trainees. Additionally, more than 65 short university programs have been made available, along with the accreditation of 11 scientific specialties that contribute to meeting the needs of various sectors. The initiative did not stop there; it strengthened its presence by establishing strategic partnerships with over 200 local and international entities, providing extensive opportunities for knowledge exchange and ensuring the quality of educational outcomes, in line with national development aspirations.
The offered programs cover a wide range of fields related to global transformations and the modern labor market, including specialties in technology such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and cloud computing, as well as public health areas like health education, health ethics, and health policies. Furthermore, there are specialties in management and economics, such as financial risk management, smart transportation, and smart logistics, in addition to fields of culture and creativity that enhance national identity and solidify the Kingdom's position on a civilizational level.
This diversity underscores the initiative's comprehensiveness and flexibility in keeping pace with various sectors, while also contributing to enhancing the readiness of youth to enter the labor market with advanced skills. It provides them with greater employment opportunities or the chance to launch innovative entrepreneurial projects, translating the aspirations of wise leadership into tangible reality. In the upcoming phase, the initiative aims to expand by offering 350 short university programs, reflecting the Kingdom's ongoing commitment to building a qualified generation capable of adapting to future changes. Thus, the "MicroX" initiative continues to contribute to shaping the national transformation and enhancing the alignment between educational outcomes and labor market needs, as well as reinforcing Saudi Arabia's role as a major supporter of e-learning and quality training, and a fundamental contributor to building a competitive society and a knowledge-based economy.
