واستقر مؤشر الدولار الذي يقيس أداء العملة الأمريكية مقابل سلة من العملات، عند 101.11، وارتفع الدولار مما أدى إلى ارتفاع أسعار النفط وتأجيج المخاوف من التضخم.
وصعدت العقود الآجلة لخام برنت اليوم بأكثر من 1.3% إلى 95.31 دولاراً للبرميل.
وارتفعت عوائد سندات الخزانة الأمريكية لأجل سنتين إلى أعلى مستوى لها في 17 شهراً أمس (الأربعاء)، إذ أدى ارتفاع أسعار النفط إلى تأجيج المخاوف من التضخم، مما يزيد من احتمالات رفع أسعار الفائدة الأمريكية.
وارتفع اليورو 0.02% إلى 1.1412 دولار، فيما انخفض الدولار الأسترالي 0.1% إلى 0.6989 دولار أمريكي، وتراجع الدولار النيوزيلندي 0.1% تقريباً إلى 0.5811 دولار.
وبلغ الجنيه الإسترليني في أحدث التداولات 1.3373 دولار، وارتفع الين الياباني 0.02% إلى 163.1 مقابل الدولار مبدداً مكاسبه، وانخفضت العملة إلى 163.23 يوم (الثلاثاء) مسجلة أدنى مستوياتها منذ ديسمبر 1986.

Brent crude futures rose today by more than 1.3% to $95.31 per barrel.
U.S. two-year Treasury yields climbed to their highest level in 17 months yesterday (Wednesday), as rising oil prices intensified inflation fears, increasing the likelihood of U.S. interest rate hikes.
The euro rose by 0.02% to $1.1412, while the Australian dollar fell by 0.1% to $0.6989, and the New Zealand dollar declined by nearly 0.1% to $0.5811.
The British pound was last traded at $1.3373, the Japanese yen increased by 0.02% to 163.1 against the dollar, erasing its gains, and the currency fell to 163.23 on Tuesday, marking its lowest levels since December 1986.
