تراجعت سندات لبنان السيادية اليوم، بما يصل إلى 1.7 سنت، في أكبر انخفاض يومي لها منذ 2022، مع استمرار انزلاق البلاد إلى أعماق الحرب المتصاعدة في الشرق الأوسط.
وجاء هذا التراجع في ظل قصف إسرائيلي مكثف لجنوب لبنان، وأعلنت إيران أن سفيرها في لبنان سيبقى في منصبه، في تحدٍّ لوزارة الخارجية اللبنانية التي أعلنته شخصاً غير مرغوب فيه وطالبته بمغادرة البلاد.
هيكلة الديون
وأظهرت بيانات «تريد ويب» أن الديون المتعثرة للبلاد انخفضت بما يراوح بين 1.4 و1.7 سنت لتصل إلى ما بين 24.5 و24.9 سنت للدولار.
وكانت السندات قد سجلت أعلى مستوياتها في ستّ سنوات هذا العام، حتى في خضم الاضطرابات الإقليمية، إذ كان المستثمرون يأملون في أن يؤدي ضعف جماعة «حزب الله» اللبنانية إلى إحراز تقدم سياسي نحو إعادة هيكلة الديون.
Lebanon's sovereign bonds fell today by as much as 1.7 cents, marking their largest daily decline since 2022, as the country continues to slide deeper into the escalating war in the Middle East.
This decline came amid intense Israeli bombardment of southern Lebanon, and Iran announced that its ambassador to Lebanon would remain in his position, defying the Lebanese Foreign Ministry, which declared him a persona non grata and demanded that he leave the country.
Debt Restructuring
Data from "Trade Web" showed that the country's distressed debt fell by between 1.4 and 1.7 cents, reaching between 24.5 and 24.9 cents on the dollar.
The bonds had reached their highest levels in six years this year, even amidst regional turmoil, as investors hoped that the weakening of the Lebanese "Hezbollah" group would lead to political progress towards debt restructuring.
