وصل إلى العاصمة السورية دمشق اليوم (السبت) وفد سعودي، برئاسة وزير الاستثمار المهندس خالد الفالح، في مستهل زيارة رسمية تهدف إلى تعزيز التعاون الاقتصادي والاستثماري بين المملكة وسورية، ودفع الشَّراكات الثنائية نحو مرحلة التنفيذ العملي للمشاريع المشتركة.
وتأتي الزيارة في إطار دعم مسار الشراكة الإستراتيجية بين البلدين الشقيقين، وتعزيز دور القطاع الخاص في دعم المشاريع التنموية، وتهيئة مسار مستدام للتكامل الاقتصادي؛ بما يخدم المصالح المشتركة، ويواكب التوجهات التنموية في المرحلة القادمة.
ومن المقرر أن تشهد الزيارة الإعلان عن توقيع مجموعة من العقود الإستراتيجية بين شركات سعودية رائدة وجهات حكومية سورية، تشمل قطاعات الطيران، والاتصالات، والبنية التحتية، والمبادرات التنموية.
كما تتضمن الزيارة عقد سلسلة من الاجتماعات الرسمية رفيعة المستوى مع عددٍ من المسؤولين والجهات ذات العلاقة؛ لبحث آفاق التعاون الاستثماري، ومناقشة سُبل تنفيذ المشاريع المشتركة، وتوفير البيئة المحفزة لجذب الاستثمارات النوعية.
وتُمثِّل هذه الزيارة مرحلة متقدمة في الشراكة الاقتصادية بين المملكة وسورية، إذ تأتي استكمالًا لسلسلة من اللقاءات والمنتديات التي انعقدت خلال العام الماضي، والتي أسفرت عن توقيع عدد من الاتفاقيات لتشجيع الاستثمار المتبادل، وتفعيل آليات العمل المشترك في عدد من القطاعات الحيوية، حيث تؤكد هذه الجهود المتواصلة على اللحمة الإستراتيجية بين البلدين في دعم التنمية الاقتصادية، وتوسيع الفرص الاستثمارية أمام القطاع الخاص السعودي والسوري على حد سواء، في إطار طموح كبير لتعميق التكامل الاقتصادي المشترك خلال المرحلة القادمة.
A Saudi delegation, headed by Minister of Investment Engineer Khalid Al-Falih, arrived in the Syrian capital Damascus today (Saturday) at the beginning of an official visit aimed at enhancing economic and investment cooperation between the Kingdom and Syria, and advancing bilateral partnerships towards the practical implementation phase of joint projects.
The visit comes as part of supporting the strategic partnership path between the two brotherly countries, enhancing the role of the private sector in supporting developmental projects, and preparing a sustainable path for economic integration; serving mutual interests and aligning with developmental trends in the upcoming phase.
The visit is expected to witness the announcement of the signing of a number of strategic contracts between leading Saudi companies and Syrian government entities, covering the aviation, telecommunications, infrastructure, and developmental initiatives sectors.
The visit also includes a series of high-level official meetings with several officials and relevant entities to discuss investment cooperation prospects, explore ways to implement joint projects, and provide an encouraging environment to attract quality investments.
This visit represents an advanced stage in the economic partnership between the Kingdom and Syria, as it comes as a continuation of a series of meetings and forums that took place last year, which resulted in the signing of several agreements to encourage mutual investment and activate mechanisms for joint work in several vital sectors. These ongoing efforts emphasize the strategic bond between the two countries in supporting economic development and expanding investment opportunities for both the Saudi and Syrian private sectors alike, within the framework of a great ambition to deepen joint economic integration in the upcoming phase.
