شارك الرئيسان المصري عبدالفتاح السيسي، والتركي رجب طيب أردوغان، في الجلسة الختامية لمنتدى الأعمال المصري التركي، الذي عُقد في القاهرة أمس، بمشاركة ممثلي الحكومتين المصرية والتركية، إلى جانب نُخبة من رجال الأعمال في البلدين.
وأوضح المتحدث باسم الرئاسة المصرية السفير محمد الشناوي، أن جلسات المنتدى تناولت سُبل تعزيز التبادل التجاري بين البلدين، إضافةً إلى استعراض الفرص المتاحة أمام الاستثمارات التركية في السوق المصرية.
وأكد الرئيس المصري في كلمته خلال الجلسة الختامية أن العلاقات الاقتصادية بين مصر وتركيا تقوم على أسس راسخة وعملية، مشيراً إلى مقومات التكامل الاقتصادي بين البلدين إلى جانب التقارب الجغرافي والثقافي وتوافر الإرادة السياسية وإرادة مجتمع الأعمال، التي أسهمت في بلوغ مستويات غير مسبوقة من التعاون التجاري والاستثماري.
من جانبه، نوّه الرئيس التركي في كلمة مماثلة، إلى أن مصر وتركيا دولتان رئيستان في قلب التطورات التي تشغل معظم الأجندة الدولية، مبيناً أن إسهامات التعاون الثنائي ليست فقط في تنمية البلدين، بل أيضاً في استقرار المنطقة.
The Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan participated in the closing session of the Egyptian-Turkish Business Forum, which was held in Cairo yesterday, with the participation of representatives from the Egyptian and Turkish governments, alongside a select group of businessmen from both countries.
The spokesperson for the Egyptian presidency, Ambassador Mohamed El-Shenawy, explained that the sessions of the forum discussed ways to enhance trade exchange between the two countries, in addition to reviewing the available opportunities for Turkish investments in the Egyptian market.
The Egyptian president emphasized in his speech during the closing session that the economic relations between Egypt and Turkey are based on solid and practical foundations, pointing to the components of economic integration between the two countries, as well as geographical and cultural proximity, and the availability of political will and the will of the business community, which have contributed to reaching unprecedented levels of commercial and investment cooperation.
For his part, the Turkish president noted in a similar speech that Egypt and Turkey are two key countries at the heart of developments that occupy most of the international agenda, indicating that the contributions of bilateral cooperation are not only for the development of the two countries but also for the stability of the region.
