تستضيف العاصمة الرياض غداً، أعمال الدورة الـ12 للجنة السعودية - التونسية المشتركة، التي تبحث فرص توسيع آفاق التعاون الاقتصادي الثنائي، وتعزيز الشراكات الإستراتيجية بين المملكة والجمهورية التونسية في مختلف القطاعات الاقتصادية والتنموية، وذلك بتنظيم من وزارة الصناعة والثروة المعدنية.
ويرأس الجانب السعودي في اجتماع اللجنة وزير الصناعة والثروة المعدنية بندر بن إبراهيم الخريف، فيما يرأس الجانب التونسي وزير الاقتصاد والتخطيط الدكتور سمير عبدالحفيظ، بمشاركة ممثلي الجهات الحكومية من الجانبين.
وتركز أعمال اللجنة على مناقشة سبل تعزيز التعاون المشترك، واستكشاف الفرص الاستثمارية، وتبادل الخبرات في عدد من القطاعات الحيوية، أبرزها الصناعة، والتعدين، والسياحة، والنقل والخدمات اللوجستية، والعدل، مما يجعلها منصة مهمة لدفع مسارات التعاون بين الجانبين في تلك القطاعات.
فرص واعدة
وتأتي هذه الدورة في ظل رؤى مشتركة للبلدين تستهدف تطوير التعاون الاقتصادي والاستثماري، ودعم نمو حجم التجارة البينية، وتعزيز نفاذ المنتجات السعودية إلى أسواق شمال أفريقيا، مع التركيز على قطاعات الصناعة والنقل والخدمات اللوجستية والاستثمار، مما يتيح فرصاً واعدةً لبناء شراكات استثمارية بين مجتمعَي الأعمال في البلدين.
وعلى هامش أعمال الدورة الـ12 للجنة، يقام يوم الإثنين 29 ديسمبر 2025م، ملتقى الأعمال السعودي التونسي في الرياض، الذي تنظّمه الوزارة بالتعاون مع وزارة الاستثمار واتحاد الغرف السعودية، بمشاركة واسعة من ممثلي القطاع الخاص في البلدين، ويناقش الملتقى فرصَ تعزيز الشراكات التجارية والاستثمارية بين الجانبين.
برامج ومبادرات
وتُعد اللجنة السعودية - التونسية المشتركة، التي انطلقت منذ عام 1998م، الإطار المؤسسي الأبرز للتعاون الإستراتيجي بين البلدين؛ إذ نجحت عبر دوراتها المتتابعة في ترجمة التطلعات المشتركة إلى برامج ومبادرات ملموسة قابلة للقياس والتنفيذ، مما أسهم بفاعلية في توسيع آفاق التعاون الثنائي وتطوير آليات العمل المشترك.
يُذكر أن حجم التجارة البينية غير النفطية بين المملكة والجمهورية التونسية وصل في عام 2024م إلى نحو 1.12 مليار ريال، بمعدل نمو سنوي قدره 1.78% خلال الفترة من 2019م - 2024م؛ ما يفتح آفاقاً أوسع لتعميق الشراكة الاقتصادية من خلال أعمال اللجنة ومخرجاتها، بما يسرِّع وتيرة نمو حجم التبادل التجاري خلال المرحلة القادمة، ويحقق المصالح المشتركة للبلدين.
The capital Riyadh will host tomorrow the 12th session of the Saudi-Tunisian Joint Committee, which will explore opportunities to expand the horizons of bilateral economic cooperation and enhance strategic partnerships between the Kingdom and the Republic of Tunisia in various economic and developmental sectors, organized by the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources.
The Saudi side in the committee meeting will be chaired by the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef, while the Tunisian side will be chaired by the Minister of Economy and Planning, Dr. Samir Abdel Hafiz, with the participation of representatives from government entities from both sides.
The committee's work will focus on discussing ways to enhance joint cooperation, exploring investment opportunities, and exchanging expertise in several vital sectors, most notably industry, mining, tourism, transportation and logistics services, and justice, making it an important platform to advance cooperation between the two sides in those sectors.
Promising Opportunities
This session comes in light of shared visions for the two countries aimed at developing economic and investment cooperation, supporting the growth of inter-trade volume, and enhancing the access of Saudi products to North African markets, with a focus on the sectors of industry, transportation, logistics services, and investment, thus providing promising opportunities to build investment partnerships between the business communities of both countries.
On the sidelines of the 12th session of the committee, the Saudi-Tunisian Business Forum will be held on Monday, December 29, 2025, in Riyadh, organized by the ministry in cooperation with the Ministry of Investment and the Saudi Chambers Federation, with wide participation from representatives of the private sector in both countries, discussing opportunities to enhance commercial and investment partnerships between the two sides.
Programs and Initiatives
The Saudi-Tunisian Joint Committee, which was launched in 1998, is the most prominent institutional framework for strategic cooperation between the two countries; it has successfully translated shared aspirations into measurable and implementable programs and initiatives through its successive sessions, effectively contributing to expanding the horizons of bilateral cooperation and developing mechanisms for joint work.
It is noteworthy that the volume of non-oil trade between the Kingdom and the Republic of Tunisia reached approximately 1.12 billion riyals in 2024, with an annual growth rate of 1.78% during the period from 2019 to 2024; this opens wider horizons for deepening economic partnership through the committee's work and outcomes, accelerating the pace of trade exchange growth in the upcoming phase, and achieving the mutual interests of both countries.
