قفز سعر الذهب إلى مستوى قياسي مرتفع، اليوم، وارتفع في المعاملات الفورية بنسبة (0.5%) ليصل إلى (4,467.66) دولار للأوقية، بحلول الساعة 00:41 بتوقيت جرينتش، بعدما سجل مستوى قياسياً آخر عند (4,469.52) دولار في وقت سابق من الجلسة.
وارتفعت العقود الأمريكية الآجلة للذهب تسليم فبراير (0.74%) إلى (4,502.30) دولار للأوقية.
وصعدت الفضة في المعاملات الفورية بنسبة (0.19%) لتصل إلى (69.15) دولار للأوقية، وبلغت أعلى مستوى لها على الإطلاق عند (69.44) دولار أمس الإثنين.
وزاد الذهب (70%) منذ بداية هذا العام، وتجاوز مستوى (4,400) دولار لأول مرة أمس، فيما ارتفعت الفضة (140%) منذ بداية العام حتى الآن، متفوقة على الذهب، واقتربت من مستوى (70) دولارًا في الجلسة السابقة.
وبالنسبة للمعادن النفيسة الأخرى، ارتفع البلاتين في المعاملات الفورية (1.1%) إلى (2,143.70) دولار للأوقية، وهو أعلى مستوى له في 17 عاماً ونصف العام، بينما حقق البلاديوم مكاسب بنسبة (1.42%) ليصل إلى (1,784.30) دولار للأوقية، وهو أعلى مستوى خلال ثلاث سنوات تقريباً.
The price of gold jumped to a record high today, rising in spot transactions by (0.5%) to reach (4,467.66) dollars per ounce, by 00:41 GMT, after recording another record level of (4,469.52) dollars earlier in the session.
U.S. gold futures for February delivery rose (0.74%) to (4,502.30) dollars per ounce.
Silver also increased in spot transactions by (0.19%) to reach (69.15) dollars per ounce, having reached an all-time high of (69.44) dollars on Monday.
Gold has risen (70%) since the beginning of this year, surpassing the (4,400) dollar mark for the first time yesterday, while silver has increased (140%) year-to-date, outpacing gold and nearing the (70) dollar mark in the previous session.
As for other precious metals, platinum rose in spot transactions by (1.1%) to (2,143.70) dollars per ounce, marking its highest level in 17 and a half years, while palladium gained (1.42%) to reach (1,784.30) dollars per ounce, its highest level in nearly three years.
