نقلت صحيفة «فاينانشال تايمز» عن مصادر أمريكية أمس (الثلاثاء)، إن المحادثات التجارية بشأن الرسوم الجمركية معقّدة.
يأتي ذلك فيما قالت المتحدثة باسم البيت الأبيض كارولاين ليفيت أمس الأول (الإثنين): «إن الرئيس دونالد ترمب يعتزم عقد اجتماعات مع فريقه التجاري هذا الأسبوع، لتحديد نسب الرسوم الجمركية على كل دولة إذا لم تتفاوض مع الولايات المتحدة».
وحدّد الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب 9 يوليو موعداً نهائيّاً للتفاوض على اتفاقيات تجارية قبل فرض رسوم جمركية مرتفعة عليها.
وقالت ليفيت: «سيحدد النسب للعديد من هذه البلدان إذا لم تأتِ إلى طاولة التفاوض بحسن نية، وسيجتمع مع فريقه التجاري هذا الأسبوع للقيام بذلك».
وسبق لترمب أن أعلن إرساله إلى عدد من شركاء بلاده التجاريين رسائل يبلغهم فيها بالمعدل الجديد للرسوم الجمركية، التي ستفرضها الولايات المتحدة على وارداتها من منتجاتهم.

The "Financial Times" reported yesterday (Tuesday) citing American sources that the trade talks regarding tariffs are complicated.
This comes as White House spokesperson Caroline Levitt said the day before yesterday (Monday): "President Donald Trump intends to hold meetings with his trade team this week to determine the tariff rates for each country if they do not negotiate with the United States."
President Donald Trump set July 9 as the deadline for negotiating trade agreements before imposing high tariffs on them.
Levitt stated: "The rates will be set for many of these countries if they do not come to the negotiating table in good faith, and he will meet with his trade team this week to do so."
Trump had previously announced sending letters to several of his country's trade partners informing them of the new tariff rate that the United States will impose on imports of their products.
