كشف بنك الأعمال التابع للحكومة البريطانية خطط الاستثمار كجزء من إعلان رئيس الوزراء البريطاني كير ستارمر لإستراتيجية صناعية تمتد لعشر سنوات.
ويتوقع أن يقدم بنك الأعمال البريطاني استثمارًا كبيرًا لرواد الأعمال في المملكة المتحدة كجزء من التزام بقيمة 6.6 مليار جنيه إسترليني «8.83 مليار دولار» لدعم الابتكار والصناعة.
وقال ستارمر أمس (الإثنين): «إنه يعتزم خفض تكاليف الكهرباء لآلاف الشركات كجزء من هذه الإستراتيجية، في محاولة للمساعدة في تسريع النمو الاقتصادي»، وفق وكالة الأنباء الألمانية (د ب أ).
وسجل بنك الأعمال البريطاني نموًا في قدرته المالية الإجمالية لتصل إلى 25.6 مليار جنيه إسترليني منذ آخر مراجعة للإنفاق.
وأعلن البنك أن التزامه الأخير بالاستثمار بقيمة 6.6 مليار جنيه إسترليني سيساهم بشكل خاص في تسريع نمو الشركات الصغيرة في أنحاء المملكة المتحدة.
وأعلنت الحكومة أنه سيتم استثمار 4 مليارات جنيه إسترليني من خلال مبادرة رأس المال للنمو ضمن الإستراتيجية الصناعية الجديدة، مع التركيز على ثمانية قطاعات مستهدفة منها التصنيع المتقدم، والطاقة النظيفة، والتكنولوجيا الرقمية، وعلوم الحياة.
ومن المقرر أن يتم تخصيص 2.6 مليار جنيه إسترليني إضافية لدعم رواد الأعمال في أنحاء المملكة المتحدة، وتوفير الأموال للمساعدة في سد فجوات التمويل الإقليمية.

The UK government’s Business Bank has unveiled investment plans as part of British Prime Minister Keir Starmer's announcement of a ten-year industrial strategy.
The British Business Bank is expected to provide significant investment to entrepreneurs in the UK as part of a £6.6 billion ($8.83 billion) commitment to support innovation and industry.
Starmer said yesterday (Monday): "He intends to reduce electricity costs for thousands of businesses as part of this strategy, in an effort to help accelerate economic growth," according to the German news agency (dpa).
The British Business Bank has recorded growth in its total financial capacity to reach £25.6 billion since the last spending review.
The bank announced that its recent commitment to invest £6.6 billion will particularly contribute to accelerating the growth of small businesses across the UK.
The government announced that £4 billion will be invested through the Growth Capital initiative as part of the new industrial strategy, focusing on eight targeted sectors including advanced manufacturing, clean energy, digital technology, and life sciences.
An additional £2.6 billion is set to be allocated to support entrepreneurs across the UK, providing funds to help bridge regional funding gaps.
