وكان المعدنان قد شهدا ارتفاعات كبيرة خلال الفترة الماضية، مدفوعين بتزايد المخاوف الاقتصادية والتوترات العالمية، ما عزز الإقبال عليهما من قبل المستثمرين.

ويُنظر إلى الذهب، ومعه الفضة، باعتبارهما من أبرز الملاذات الآمنة في أوقات عدم اليقين، إذ شهدا طلباً قوياً مع توجه المستثمرين للتحوط وحماية الثروات.
