أعلن المنتدى الاقتصادي العالمي أنه حقق في ادعاءات مجهولة عن مخالفات ارتكبتها مؤسسه كلاوس شواب، لافتاً إلى أنه رفضها باعتبارها لا أساس لها من الصحة. وأشار إلى أن مؤسسة محاماة خلصت إلى عدم وجود قضية ضد شواب الألماني الجنسية.
وقال المنتدى في بيان صحافي: «لا يوجد دليل على مخالفة مادية من قبل كلاوس شواب، كما لم يكن هناك أيضاً دليل على أي سوء سلوك من جانب زوجة شواب (هيلدا)».
وأضاف المنتدى أنه اتخذ إجراءات لتعزيز الحوكمة ومعالجة جميع القضايا التي تم رصدها، مؤكداً تعيين لاري فينك وأندريه هوفمان، كرئيسين مشاركين مؤقتين لمجلس الإدارة.
يذكر أن المؤسسة، التي أسسها شواب عام 1971، تنظم المنتدى الاقتصادي العالمي السنوي في دافوس بسويسرا. ويشتهر المنتدى الاقتصادي العالمي باجتماعه السنوي رفيع المستوى في منتجع دافوس بسويسرا، ويجمع قادة سياسيين ورجال أعمال عالميين، وأكاديميين، وشخصيات من المجتمع المدني؛ لمناقشة القضايا الدولية الملحة.

The World Economic Forum announced that it investigated anonymous allegations of misconduct by its founder Klaus Schwab, noting that it dismissed them as unfounded. It pointed out that a law firm concluded there was no case against the German national Schwab.
The forum stated in a press release: "There is no evidence of material misconduct by Klaus Schwab, nor was there any evidence of wrongdoing by Schwab's wife (Hilda)."
The forum added that it has taken steps to enhance governance and address all identified issues, confirming the appointment of Larry Fink and André Hoffmann as interim co-chairs of the board.
