ارتفع عدد العاطلين في ألمانيا خلال الشهر الجاري بأكثر من التوقعات، مع استمرار ضعف نمو الوظائف نتيجة ضعف الاقتصاد، بحسب بيانات وكالة العمل الاتحادية الصادرة اليوم الأربعاء.
وقالت وكالة العمل الألمانية: «إن عدد العاطلين في ألمانيا ارتفع خلال شهر مايو بواقع 34 ألف عاطل، بعد ارتفاعه بواقع 6 آلاف عاطل خلال أبريل الماضي، في حين كان المحللون يتوقعون ارتفاع العدد بواقع 12 ألف عاطل».
في الوقت نفسه استقر معدل البطالة خلال الشهر الجاري عند مستوى 6.3% دون تغيير مقارنة بالشهر الماضي، وهو ما جاء متفقاً مع توقعات المحللين.
وقالت رئيسة وكالة العمل الاتحادية أندريا ناليس: «إن سوق العمل لا تحظى بالدعم اللازم لعكس مسارها؛ ولذلك، من المرجح استمرار معدلات البطالة في الارتفاع هذا الصيف».
وأظهرت نتائج مسح القوى العاملة، الذي نشره مكتب الإحصاء الاتحادي، أن معدل البطالة المُعدَّل في أبريل ظل ثابتاً عند 3.6%، وانخفض عدد العاطلين عن العمل بواقع 3 آلاف شخص عن الشهر السابق ليصل إلى 1,58 مليون.
وأضاف الخبير الاقتصادي كارستن برزيسكي من بنك «آي إن جي»: «إنه حتى إذا كانت الزيادة في عدد العاطلين عن العمل تدريجية، فإن خطر حدوث خسارة كبيرة في الدخل المتاح والازدهار الاقتصادي الأوسع مرتفع».

The number of unemployed people in Germany rose this month by more than expected, as job growth continues to be weak due to a sluggish economy, according to data from the Federal Employment Agency released today, Wednesday.
The German Employment Agency stated: "The number of unemployed in Germany increased by 34,000 in May, following a rise of 6,000 in April, while analysts had expected an increase of 12,000."
At the same time, the unemployment rate remained stable this month at 6.3%, unchanged from last month, which was in line with analysts' expectations.
Andrea Nahles, the head of the Federal Employment Agency, said: "The labor market does not have the necessary support to reverse its course; therefore, it is likely that unemployment rates will continue to rise this summer."
The results of the labor force survey published by the Federal Statistical Office showed that the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate in April remained steady at 3.6%, and the number of unemployed decreased by 3,000 from the previous month to reach 1.58 million.
Economist Carsten Brzeski from ING Bank added: "Even if the increase in the number of unemployed is gradual, the risk of a significant loss in disposable income and broader economic prosperity is high."
