تحدثت الفنانة المصرية صفاء الطوخي عن علاقتها بالفنانة المصرية عبلة كامل، مؤكدة أنها تجمعهما علاقة وطيدة منذ أيام الدراسة في المعهد والجامعة.

ووصفت الطوخي عبلة بأنها بمثابة أخت لها وليست مجرد صديقة، مشيرة إلى أنها تحرص على الاطمئنان عليها دائمًا والسؤال عنها كلما أمكن، معربة عن سعادتها برسالتها الأخيرة التي أرسلتها للجمهور كي تطمئن جمهورها في الوطن العربي على صحتها.
حرية فنية بعيدة عن الماديات
وأوضحت الطوخي أن عبلة كامل كانت فنانة حرة لا تضطر لفعل أي شيء لا تقتنع به، حتى لو كان الأمر يتعلق بالمال، مؤكدة أنها لم تندم يومًا على هذا المبدأ.

أما عن دورها في مسلسل «لن أعيش في جلباب أبي»، فأوضحت أنها كانت طالبة في المعهد وقت التصوير، وأن زميلها خالد العيسوي شاركها مشاريع الدراسة أثناء التصوير.

كما أشارت الطوخي إلى علاقتها بالفنان الراحل أحمد زكي، مؤكدة أن والدتها كانت تربطها به صداقة وثيقة، وأنه نصحها في بداياتها الفنية بأن تبني شخصيتها الفنية الخاصة بعيدًا عن تقليد الآخرين.

El-Toukhy also mentioned her relationship with the late artist Ahmed Zaki, confirming that her mother had a close friendship with him, and that he advised her in her early artistic career to build her own artistic personality away from imitating others.
