أعلن رئيس مجلس الوزراء المصري الدكتور مصطفى مدبولي موافقة رئيس الجمهورية عبدالفتاح السيسي على تحديد موعد افتتاح المتحف المصري الكبير، ليكون في 1 نوفمبر القادم.
ووجه رئيس الوزراء المصري، في مستهل اجتماع الحكومة الأسبوعي، اليوم (الأربعاء)، الوزارات والجهات ذات الصلة بالإعداد لهذا الحدث، باستكمال الترتيبات التي تُجرى على قدم وساق، لضمان الجاهزية التامة للمتحف المصري الكبير، والمنطقة المحيطة به، على النحو الذي يُسهم في ظهور حدث افتتاح المتحف بالصورة المشرفة.
وأكد الدكتور مصطفى مدبولي أن افتتاح المتحف المصري الكبير يتم الإعداد له ليكون حدثاً استثنائياً يُضافُ إلى مسيرة حافلة من الأحداث الوطنية المميزة التي ارتبطت بتاريخ مصر الحديث، خصوصاً أنه من المقرر أن يشهد حضوراً رسمياً مُميزاً من العديد من بلدان العالم، كما يتضمن تنظيم عددٍ من الفعاليات المُصاحبة، إذ يُمثل المتحف المصري الكبير صرحاً حضارياً وثقافياً وسياحياً عالمياً يُبرز عظمة إرث الحضارة المصرية، بمختلف فصولها، ويجذب الزوار من جميع أنحاء العالم.

During the weekly government meeting today (Wednesday), the Egyptian Prime Minister directed the relevant ministries and agencies to prepare for this event, completing the arrangements that are underway to ensure the full readiness of the Grand Egyptian Museum and the surrounding area, in a manner that contributes to showcasing the museum's opening in an honorable light.
Dr. Mostafa Madbouly confirmed that the preparations for the opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum are being organized to make it an exceptional event that adds to a rich history of distinguished national events linked to modern Egyptian history, especially since it is expected to witness a distinguished official attendance from many countries around the world. It also includes organizing a number of accompanying activities, as the Grand Egyptian Museum represents a global cultural, civilizational, and touristic landmark that highlights the greatness of the Egyptian civilization's heritage in all its chapters, attracting visitors from all over the world.
