انطلقت اليوم فعاليات الأسبوع الثقافي السعودي في مدينة أوساكا اليابانية، التي تنظمها وزارة الثقافة، وتستمر حتى الـ 15 من يوليو الجاري، وذلك في مقر «إكسبو 2025 أوساكا».
وتأتي هذه الفعاليات بمناسبة الذكرى السبعين لتأسيس العلاقات الدبلوماسية بين المملكة العربية السعودية واليابان، إذ يُسلّط الأسبوع الثقافي الضوء على مبادرة «عام الحرف اليدوية 2025» بوصفها عنصرا بارزا في الثقافة السعودية، ويُبرز حضور الصناعات الإبداعية، والمشغولات اليدوية، وينقل إبداعات الحرفيين السعوديين إلى الجمهور الياباني والدولي ضمن تجربة ثقافية تفاعلية، إلى جانب تنظيم معرضٍ فوتوغرافي يوثّق مسيرة العلاقات السعودية اليابانية، ويُجسّد محطاتها التاريخية، ومظاهر التقارب بين الشعبين.
ويشهد البرنامج مشاركة هيئة التراث، والمعهد الملكي للفنون التقليدية (ورث)، ومركز الأمير محمد بن سلمان العالمي للخط العربي، ودارة الملك عبد العزيز، وشركة حرف السعودية، التي تقدم طيفا متنوعا من الأنشطة التفاعلية، والعروض الحيّة.
وتنظّم هيئة التراث خلال الأسبوع معرضا لنماذج من الحرف التقليدية السعودية، بالتعاون مع شركة حرف السعودية، إلى جانب أداء مشترك لتجارب نسج سعف النخل، وحرفة السدو، وتشكيل الأواني الطينية بين حرفيين من البلدين، فيما يقام مجلس تراثي سعودي يجسّد كرم الضيافة من خلال تقديم القهوة السعودية والتمر مصحوب بعرض موسيقي مشترك.
وتُقدّم «ورث» مجموعةً من المنتجات، التي تدمج بين الفنون الحِرفية السعودية واليابانية بمشاركة طلابها، في تجارب حية تتيح للزوار خوض تجربة العمل الحِرفي بأنفسهم، متضمنةً نماذج من الحِرف التقليدية في البلدين، مثل زخرفة الكيمونو الياباني، وحياكة البشت على يد حرفي سعودي متخصص، بينما يستعرض مركز الأمير محمد بن سلمان العالمي للخط العربي عروضا فنية مباشرة تجمع بين خطاط سعودي وآخر ياباني، مستخدِمَين ورقا مصنوعا يدويا من سعف النخل، إلى جانب عرض مرئي يُوثّق مراحل صناعة الورق، ويُبرز أنشطة المركز، فيما تعرض دارة الملك عبد العزيز محتوى فوتوغرافيا يوثّق العلاقات السعودية - اليابانية عبر العقود السبعة الماضية.
ويستمر جناح المملكة المشارك في معرض إكسبو 2025 بتقديم أكثر من 700 فعالية ثقافية متنوعة، تتيح للزائر خوض تجربة شاملة تُحاكي تنوّع المملكة وثراءها الحضاري.
ويعرض محتوى توعويا متكاملا يعرّف الزوّار بمكوّناته المتعددة، التي تتجاوز الجانب الثقافي لتشمل الاستدامة والتحوّل الوطني، من خلال عروض إبداعية ومعرفية تجسد روح السعودية وتبرز ملامحها الحاضرة والمستقبلية.
ويأتي هذا الحدث امتدادا للأسابيع الثقافية، التي تنظّمها وزارة الثقافة بشكلٍ دوري، تعزيزا للتبادل الثقافي، وتفعيلا لأهداف الإستراتيجية الوطنية للثقافة تحت مظلة رؤية المملكة 2030.
Today, the Saudi Cultural Week kicked off in the Japanese city of Osaka, organized by the Ministry of Culture, and will continue until July 15th, at the "Expo 2025 Osaka" venue.
This event comes in celebration of the seventieth anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Japan. The cultural week highlights the "Year of Handicrafts 2025" initiative as a prominent element of Saudi culture, showcasing the presence of creative industries and handicrafts, and bringing the creations of Saudi artisans to the Japanese and international audience through an interactive cultural experience. Additionally, a photographic exhibition will document the journey of Saudi-Japanese relations, illustrating its historical milestones and the aspects of closeness between the two peoples.
The program features participation from the Heritage Authority, the Royal Institute of Traditional Arts (Wirth), the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Global Center for Arabic Calligraphy, the King Abdulaziz Foundation, and the Saudi Crafts Company, which offers a diverse range of interactive activities and live performances.
During the week, the Heritage Authority will organize an exhibition showcasing models of traditional Saudi handicrafts in collaboration with the Saudi Crafts Company, alongside a joint performance demonstrating the weaving of palm fronds, the art of Sadu, and the shaping of clay pots between artisans from both countries. A Saudi heritage council will embody the generosity of hospitality by serving Saudi coffee and dates, accompanied by a joint musical performance.
Wirth will present a collection of products that blend Saudi and Japanese artisanal arts with the participation of its students, in live experiences that allow visitors to engage in handicraft work themselves, including models of traditional crafts from both countries, such as the decoration of Japanese kimonos and the weaving of the bisht by a specialized Saudi artisan. Meanwhile, the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Global Center for Arabic Calligraphy will showcase live artistic performances featuring a Saudi calligrapher and a Japanese calligrapher, using handmade paper made from palm fronds, along with a visual presentation documenting the stages of paper production and highlighting the center's activities. The King Abdulaziz Foundation will display photographic content documenting Saudi-Japanese relations over the past seven decades.
The Kingdom's pavilion participating in the Expo 2025 continues to offer more than 700 diverse cultural activities, providing visitors with a comprehensive experience that reflects the diversity and rich heritage of the Kingdom.
It presents a complete awareness content that introduces visitors to its multiple components, which go beyond the cultural aspect to include sustainability and national transformation, through creative and informative presentations that embody the spirit of Saudi Arabia and highlight its present and future features.
This event is an extension of the cultural weeks regularly organized by the Ministry of Culture, enhancing cultural exchange and activating the goals of the National Culture Strategy under the umbrella of Saudi Vision 2030.
