يقدّم جناح المملكة العربية السعودية استوديوهين ثقافيين مخصّصين لعرض أعمالٍ فنية سعودية معاصرة تخاطب الجمهور الياباني، وذلك ضمن جهوده لتعزيز الحوار الثقافي في إكسبو 2025 أوساكا.
وتُستخدم هذه المساحات التفاعلية مراكز نابضة بالحياة لتنظيم الورش والمعارض والاستوديوهات الحية، التي تهدف إلى تسليط الضوء على تنوع الثقافة والفنون والموسيقى السعودية.
ومنذ افتتاح الجناح في 13 أبريل الماضي، استضافت استوديوهات الموسيقى والفنون البصرية أكثر من 115 فعالية شملت معارضَ، وعروضًا حية، وأمسيات فنية متميزة، استعرضت من خلالها مواهب فنانين سعوديين عبّروا عن التراث والثقافة السعودية وقدموها للجمهور العالمي.
وكانت آخر المشاركات والإقامات الفنية للفنانَين راشد الشعشعي ومريم طارق، اللذين أتمّا إقامتهما الفنية في استوديو الفنون البصرية الثقافية الذي يُعد ورشةَ ومساحةَ عرضٍ تُنتَج فيها الأعمال الفنية البصرية وتُعرض للجمهور، وفيه يستطيع الضيوف أن يتتبّعوا مسيرة الثقافة السعودية من الماضي العريق إلى الحاضر المزدهر عبر الإبداع البصري لفناني المملكة.
وكانت مشاركة الفنان الشعشعي عبر مجموعة من الأعمال التي تتناول فلسفة الوجود الإنساني وديناميكيات المجتمعات، وتُبرز في الوقت نفسه مسيرة التحول والتطور الثقافي في المملكة من خلال الفنون البصرية، موفرةً للزوار فرصة فهم الهوية السعودية من خلال أعمال فنية ملموسة، واستخدم في أعماله الفنية مواد محلية تحمل رمزية تاريخية وثقافية، لتمثل تجسيدًا حيًا لثقافة المملكة في إكسبو 2025 أوساكا.
وقدمت الفنانة مريم طارق عملًا تركيبيًا بعنوان «ذكريات في إطارات»، اصطحبت فيه الضيوف في رحلة تأملية توثّق تحوّلات المملكة من خلال منظور زمني يمتد من الماضي إلى الحاضر والمستقبل، مُوظِّفة تقنيات متعددة الوسائط وأنماطًا هندسية ملفتة وألوانًا زاهية لتشكّل مشهدًا بصريًا حالمًا مستوحى من العمارة التقليدية والأنماط التراثية التي تشتهر بها مناطق سعودية مثل السودة والبلد.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's pavilion presents two cultural studios dedicated to showcasing contemporary Saudi artworks that engage the Japanese audience, as part of its efforts to enhance cultural dialogue at Expo 2025 Osaka.
These interactive spaces serve as vibrant centers for organizing workshops, exhibitions, and live studios, aimed at highlighting the diversity of Saudi culture, arts, and music.
Since the pavilion's opening on April 13, it has hosted music and visual arts studios that featured over 115 events, including exhibitions, live performances, and distinguished artistic evenings, showcasing the talents of Saudi artists who expressed Saudi heritage and culture to a global audience.
The latest contributions and artistic residencies were by artists Rashid Al-Shashai and Maryam Tariq, who completed their artistic residency in the cultural visual arts studio, which serves as a workshop and exhibition space where visual artworks are produced and displayed to the public. Here, guests can trace the journey of Saudi culture from its rich past to its flourishing present through the visual creativity of the Kingdom's artists.
Artist Al-Shashai's participation included a collection of works that address the philosophy of human existence and the dynamics of societies, while simultaneously highlighting the cultural transformation and development in the Kingdom through visual arts. This provided visitors with an opportunity to understand Saudi identity through tangible artworks, utilizing local materials that carry historical and cultural symbolism, representing a living embodiment of the Kingdom's culture at Expo 2025 Osaka.
Artist Maryam Tariq presented an installation titled "Memories in Frames," taking guests on a contemplative journey that documents the transformations of the Kingdom through a temporal perspective extending from the past to the present and future. She employed multimedia techniques, striking geometric patterns, and vibrant colors to create a dreamy visual scene inspired by traditional architecture and heritage patterns found in Saudi regions such as Al-Soudah and Al-Balad.
