طرح الفنان ماجد المهندس أغنيته الوطنية الجديدة «تطول الشمس»، في عمل فني يجمعه مع الأمير الشاعر سعود بن عبدالله، والملحن سهم، والموزع الموسيقي بشار سلطان.
وتمثل «تطول الشمس» إضافة جديدة إلى رصيد ماجد المهندس من الأغنيات الوطنية، إذ يعود من خلالها إلى هذا اللون الغنائي بصوته، مستنداً إلى أرشيف غنائي وطني، بعدما قدم خلال مسيرته مجموعة من الأعمال في هذا اللون، من بينها «الله يعز الدار»، التي أعاد تقديمها في حفل اليوم الوطني السعودي الـ94 عام 2024، كما قدم «همة حتى القمة» المرتبطة باليوم الوطني السعودي الـ89، و«يا وطن» من كلمات وألحان وسيم باسعد، إلى جانب أغنية «وطن» من كلمات خلف الحربي وألحان نواف عبدالله.
وبصدور «تطول الشمس» يضيف ماجد المهندس عملاً وطنياً جديداً إلى مسيرته الغنائية، بمشاركة فريق فني جمع الشعر والتلحين والتوزيع في أغنية واحدة.
The artist Majid Al Mohandis has released his new national song "The Sun Lasts Longer," in a collaborative artistic work with the poet prince Saud bin Abdullah, the composer Sahm, and the music distributor Bashar Sultan.
"The Sun Lasts Longer" represents a new addition to Majid Al Mohandis's repertoire of national songs, as he returns to this musical style with his voice, relying on a national musical archive. Throughout his career, he has presented a collection of works in this genre, including "God Bless the Home," which he reintroduced at the Saudi National Day celebration for the 94th time in 2024. He also presented "Determination to the Summit," associated with the 89th Saudi National Day, and "O Homeland," with lyrics and melody by Waseem Basad, along with the song "Nation," with lyrics by Khalaf Al Harbi and melody by Nawaf Abdullah.
With the release of "The Sun Lasts Longer," Majid Al Mohandis adds a new national work to his musical journey, with the participation of a creative team that combines poetry, composition, and arrangement in a single song.
