أكدت الفنانة اللبنانية كارول سماحة لـ«عكاظ» فخرها بالمشاركة في «ليلة الأرز» ضمن فعاليات موسم الرياض، مشيرة إلى أن اختيارها ضمن نجوم هذه الأمسية يعد مصدر اعتزاز كبير لها، ويمثل حضورًا للفن اللبناني في واحدة من أبرز الفعاليات الفنية في المنطقة.
وقالت سماحة: «كنت محظوظة وفخورة باختياري للمشاركة في هذه الليلة الرائعة، وشعرت أنني أمثل رمزًا من رموز بلدي لبنان إلى جانب زملائي الفنانين». وأضافت أن التمثيل الدرامي مؤجل في الوقت الحالي، مؤكدة أن تركيزها ينصب على الموسيقى، مع عدم استبعاد عودتها مستقبلًا عبر المسرحيات الغنائية (الميوزيكل) التي وصفتها بأنها من أجمل التجارب الفنية التي قدمتها.

وأكد الفنان راغب علامة لـ«عكاظ» أن مبادرة المستشار تركي آل الشيخ بتقديم «ليلة الأرز» ضمن موسم الرياض تجسد دعماً كبيراً للفن اللبناني، وتعكس عمق العلاقات بين الشعبين السعودي واللبناني، مشيراً إلى أن مثل هذه المبادرات تسهم في تعزيز الترابط الثقافي وتصل بمحبة الشعوب العربية إلى العالم.
The Lebanese artist Carole Samaha confirmed to "Okaz" her pride in participating in "The Cedar Night" as part of the Riyadh Season events, pointing out that her selection among the stars of this evening is a great source of pride for her and represents the presence of Lebanese art in one of the most prominent artistic events in the region.
Samaha said: "I was lucky and proud to be chosen to participate in this wonderful night, and I felt that I represented a symbol of my country Lebanon alongside my fellow artists." She added that dramatic acting is currently on hold, emphasizing that her focus is on music, while not ruling out her return in the future through musical theater, which she described as one of the most beautiful artistic experiences she has presented.
"The Cedar Night" witnessed a remarkable audience turnout, as the evening embodied an exceptional atmosphere that brought to mind the masterpieces of Lebanese song in a captivating musical ambiance, as part of the series of artistic nights presented by the Riyadh Season, attracting the most prominent stars of Arab singing in massive concerts that reflect cultural and artistic diversity.
The concert was opened by the artist Assi El Helani, who ignited the atmosphere with a bouquet of his most famous songs that the audience interacted with greatly, presenting an artistic tableau that combined authentic musicality and Lebanese folk rhythm, confirming his status as one of the most prominent stars of Arab music.
