أكد الفنان المصري أحمد وفيق، بأن ما تشهده المملكة العربية السعودية حاليًا لا يُعد مجرد تطور فني، بل طفرة شاملة على مختلف المستويات السياسية والاقتصادية والفكرية، مشيرًا إلى أن المملكة دخلت مرحلة جديدة من الانفتاح على العالم.
وقال لـ «عكاظ» أي نمو سياسي أو اقتصادي لابد أن تواكبه نهضة ثقافية، وهذا ما نراه بوضوح في السعودية اليوم، مضيفًا السعودية بدأت حركة إنتاج فني وإنشاء استوديوهات ضخمة، وهو أمر يبعث الفخر في نفوس العرب جميعًا وليس السعوديين فقط.
تعاون ممتد
وأكد بأن الشراكة بين مصر والسعودية في المجال الثقافي والفني ليست وليدة اللحظة، بل تمتد جذورها منذ سنوات طويلة، إلا أن المرحلة الراهنة منحت هذا التعاون زخمًا أكبر، إذ يلتقي البلدان كقوتين عربيتين رائدتين ومؤثرتين لدفع نهضة ثقافية جديدة، تعكس طموحات المنطقة بأكملها وتبشر بمستقبل أكثر إشراقًا للفن العربي.
وفيما يخص جديده الفني، كشف أحمد وفيق عن تعاقده على مسلسل جديد يحمل اسم «البخت»، وهو عمل درامي ضخم يجمعه بعدد من أبرز نجوم الدراما المصرية، ومن المقرر عرضه في موسم رمضان القادم.
وأوضح وفيق بأن المسلسل يناقش قضايا إنسانية معاصرة، ويسلط الضوء على الصراعات الأسرية بشكل واقعي، مقدمًا رؤية درامية تمزج بين البعد الاجتماعي والبعد الإنساني.

He told "Okaz" that any political or economic growth must be accompanied by a cultural renaissance, and this is clearly evident in Saudi Arabia today. He added that Saudi Arabia has begun a movement of artistic production and the establishment of massive studios, which is something that instills pride in the hearts of all Arabs, not just Saudis.
Extended Cooperation
He emphasized that the partnership between Egypt and Saudi Arabia in the cultural and artistic field is not a recent phenomenon, but its roots extend back many years. However, the current phase has given this cooperation greater momentum, as the two countries meet as leading and influential Arab powers to drive a new cultural renaissance that reflects the aspirations of the entire region and heralds a brighter future for Arab art.
Regarding his new artistic work, Ahmed Wafiq revealed that he has signed a contract for a new series titled "Al-Bakht," which is a massive dramatic work that brings him together with some of the most prominent stars of Egyptian drama, and it is scheduled to be aired in the upcoming Ramadan season.
Wafiq explained that the series addresses contemporary humanitarian issues and sheds light on family conflicts in a realistic manner, presenting a dramatic vision that blends social and human dimensions.
