وأصدر المكتب الإعلامي لمحمد منير بياناً رسمياً عبر حسابه الشخصي على منصة «فيسبوك» جاء فيه:«أطمئن كل الجمهور والمحبين أني بخير بعد تعرضي لوعكة صحية، وحاليًا في مرحلة استكمال العلاج، ونظرًا لهذا الظرف المرضي الطارئ، تقرر تأجيل حفل مهرجان العلمين الجديد الذي كان مقررًا إقامته يوم 16 أغسطس».

وتابع البيان: «وخلال أيام سأقوم باستكمال تسجيل باقي أغاني الألبوم الجديد وأستعد للحفلات».

ومن جانبه، أعلنت الشركة المنظمة لحفل محمد منير تأجيلها، الذي كان مقررًا يوم 16 أغسطس الجاري ضمن فعاليات مهرجان العلمين الجديدة، وذلك مراعاةً للظروف الصحية الطارئة التي يمر بها الفنان الكبير.
وحقق محمد منير أخيراً نجاحاً بعد طرحه أغنيته الجديدة التي تحمل عنوان «أنا الذي»، إلى جانب نجاحه الكبير في دويتو «الذوق العالي» مع المطرب المصري حسني، الذي حقق ملايين المشاهدات وتفاعلًا جماهيريًا لافتًا.
