كشف الموسيقار محمد علي سليمان، والد أنغام، ملابسات واقعة وفاة شقيقه، بعد تلقي قسم شرطة العجوزة في القاهرة بلاغا من سكان أحد العقارات يفيد بانبعاث رائحة كريهة من شقة بالدور الأرضي، وتبين لاحقا أن شقيق والد الفنانة أنغام قد فارق الحياة منذ أيام دون أن يشعر به أحد.
وقال محمد علي سليمان في تصريح خاص إلى «عكاظ» إن وفاة شقيقه الراحل جاءت طبيعية ولا توجد شبهة جنائية أو إصابات ظاهرية على الجثمان، والأمر في التحريات، مضيفاً أنه تبين أن الراحل توفي منذ ٣ أيام أو أكثر.
وأوضح والد أنغام أنه كان على تواصل بشكل متقطع مع شقيقه الذي كان يُفضل العزلة عن الجميع، مشيراً إلى أنه لم يعان من أي مرض بأيامه الأخيرة.
وأكدت التحريات عدم وجود أي آثار اقتحام أو عنف داخل الشقة، ما يرجح أن الوفاة طبيعية.
وتباشر نيابة شمال الجيزة التحقيق، وانتقلت لموقع البلاغ لمعاينة الجثمان، وأمرت بنقله إلى مشرحة زينهم لإجراء الصفة التشريحية اللازمة لتحديد سبب الوفاة بشكل دقيق.
The musician Mohamed Ali Suleiman, the father of Angham, revealed the circumstances surrounding the death of his brother, after the Al-Ajuzah police station in Cairo received a report from residents of a building indicating a foul smell emanating from a ground-floor apartment. It was later found that the brother of the artist Angham had passed away days ago without anyone noticing.
Mohamed Ali Suleiman stated in a special statement to "Okaz" that the death of his late brother was natural and there are no signs of foul play or visible injuries on the body, and the matter is under investigation, adding that it was determined that the deceased had died three days or more ago.
The father of Angham clarified that he had been in intermittent contact with his brother, who preferred to isolate himself from everyone, noting that he did not suffer from any illness in his final days.
The investigations confirmed that there were no signs of forced entry or violence inside the apartment, which suggests that the death was natural.
The North Giza Prosecution is conducting the investigation and has moved to the scene of the report to examine the body, ordering its transfer to the Zeinhom morgue for the necessary autopsy to accurately determine the cause of death.
